Seems generally fair if not particularly in depth of a review. Hopefully this is an early sign of the major US magazines doing some reviews finally.

Need more Dyno testing. Let's see what the actual HP and Tq numbers are.
This car is a future legend

The M2 CS test results are pretty damn amazing when you consider the fact that the M2 is a 6MT vs. the C&D test of an M4 CS which is a 7 speed DCT. The M4 has better gearing, a much quicker shifting gearbox, more power and torque, launch control, and runs the 1/4 mile in 12.0 @ 121 mph vs. the M2 CS's 12.1 @ 120 mph. At up to 150 mph, the M4 CS is at 20.4 secs and the M2 CS is right on its tail at 20.8 secs.
When you compare these times to what you can get out of any F8x M3/M4 manual, that M2 CS is really hauling. |

Those are nice numbers. Seems to lose a little steam up top. I guess that’s just what you have to pay for that level of performance and quality, much like Porsche.

I will say unlike the S55, the S58 just wants to go past redline (7200). If only BMW didn't give it that damn ZF8 transmission limiting the redline!

Note: manual transmission + M-CCB test results = lightest weight configuration:

So we can only imagine the DCT results would be quicker?
Not that I care, Manual for the win, I won’t ever track or drag my car so it’s all just nice to know stuff for me. |

@ptgltw I get where you're coming from. It's not a make or break thing for me but it's a good target to place. I'd be happy if I could beat it not that it changes anything.

With CCB's I think. Total weight probably closer with steel brakes but better center of gravity for sure.
