I haven't lowered it enough so no issues there.

But if you go with lower control arms for -ve camber adjustments and you want to go out past -2 up to -3.5 then you will need the thrust arms to adjust the caster - or you will have problems with rubbing and binding.

I use my M2 for competitive supersprints at state level and the difference has been around 1 sec/lap with the camber, caster and toe adjusted for turn in etc. Cheapest 1 sec I've ever gotten.

These arms will provide far better gain than coil overs etc - I'm always amazed that people don't adjust their camber, toe and caster (need the SPL adjustable rods for this type of thing) and think that coil overs will give a great increase in race type handling - good for ride and ultimate grip but only if you have done all the rest first. I haven't used camber plates in this car, just adjustable arms. Nothing wrong with coilovers and I use them, but getting the geometry right will give far greater handling, turn in and stability increases so I always advise people to do their arms first. Often they then wait some time before upgrading to coilovers as well.

Yup, increasing LCA length for negative camber increases the caster on the F2x/F3x/F8x platforms.

What size wheels/tires were you able to fit with just adjusting camber via LCA and not camber plates?

Wheel Size

I'm currently using the 255 / 35 Cup 2 on the front and its fine - probably should have gone for the 30 profile - hindsight.

I find the cup 2's to be ok but they do overheat quickly on the tight tracks and porky M2. but I'm going to try the Nankang AR-1's, 245/35ZR19 93Y front and 275/35ZR19 XL 100Y SY rear next. I'm hoping Yokohama will start to produce the A050 in 19 inch then I'll be happy.

I use the pilot sport 4s for my wets - they are ok for that.

I've got all the SPL arms on my track car and wouldn't have it any other way.

My rear LCA bushings are still stock. Are they worth replacing?

The rear LCA SPL knuckle would be easy to swap, but the subframe mount bushing will take some work.

I don't think SPL sells the subframe mount anyway, but I could get the part off the m2csracing catalog.

Reviving an old thread. Has anyone replaced the rear toe links? A shop installed mine but I'm returning to stock and doing it myself. Passenger side, no problem to remove but the the driver side inner bolt hits the chassis (presumably the battery well) and won't come all the way out.

Do you drop the subframe a bit to get it out?

Yup, you have to drop the subframe for clearance.

Is that an involved process or relatively simple?

It's pretty similar to the F2x/F3x rear subframe drop. I have a video on that below if you want to see all the steps.
