Remus Exhaust with VRSF Downpipe?

Hey guys - just purchased a Remus exhaust and went to go put it on the car. Seems like I can't get the midpipe to align with the downpipe. If I put the midpipe and downpipe together before mounting up the midpipe, then the midpipe mount doesn't align with the threads on the car. And if I try to mount the midpipe to the car before mounting it to the downpipe, then it won't sit close enough to bolt to the downpipe... Any advice? I'll post some pics later today when I get a chance! Does anyone have any experience running the Remus exhaust with an aftermarket downpipe? I'm starting to think that maybe the VRSF downpipe is a bit shorter than it should be...

That’s odd. Does the Remus seem to mount up with the stock downpipe? Is it an issue with the angle it’s being mounted at?

I unfortunately do not have my stock downpipe anymore - the midpipe clearly bolts up to the VRSF pipe properly but then the midpipe is sitting too far forward to be bolted onto the car’s mounts.

Ok so I was never able to get the midpipe mounted up properly but now I'm getting this weird clicking noise when moving... Any ideas what this might be? I'm about to just dump this car at a shop and tell them to fix it lol
