Seems like a scam. Spelling is bad lol. Also, I'm getting mine for just under 70k with no discount.

WOW ! Only $3,429 in sales taxes ! Here in Quebec it would a little over $10,000 (GST 5% + PST 9,975%).

That's a conservative government vs a liberal one.

That's oil rich vs no oil. Although a bit tough out west these days.

Anyone know how this guy got a 2k discount if the ad is legit? That could buy some snow tires and years of winter car washes.

Never been to Edmonton in the wintertime but if the economy gets worse and can't afford to build a carport; an igloo might be an option for the M2.

Just called the guy who apparently knows the dealer well from being a multiple longe-time customer. His deposit is non-refundable and 2g discount sounds fair. I wonder if a large number of dealers have been sold to foreign hands similar to the oil sands. Will give the dealer a call tmr to investigate further.

If you look at the build sheet, it says freight and pdi is $4k. Other places are charging $2k for freight and pdi, hence the discount.

Its not actually discounted.

Again, the guy in the ad, told me on the phone he has bought many cars from the dealership and personally knows the dealership owner; hence the discount. BMW Edmonton suggested this is a prank and/or fake ad in my brief conversation. Also, contrary to what the guy said, the sales department from the dealership doesn't charge a market adjustment of $5000.

If it was a joke and was funny, I don't mind. I feel diseased from this and essentially wasted an hour of my time.

if he knows the owner so well AND he's a repeat customer, as if they would not let him out of the deal and return his deposit...esp with the demand for this car!

Freight and PDI was $2995 for me. On top of the the other taxes, A/C, tires, registration and some other $100 fee I can't think of.
