Whats is the update on 2020 and 2021 m2c bootmod3 dme unlocking?

Probably no different than last years, believe it needs to be a very early 2020. My 2020 m2 comp was building mid 19, I pulled the DME and had someone unlock it and than I could flash.

You will still need the DME to be unlocked before you flash. My production date was 5/19

Unfortunately we will never see the day. Piggyback and cloned DME or a older model will be your only option until the end of days.

Bite the bullet. I did. Ended up doing a DME clone from Enabled

how much different is the flash vs doing a JB4? is it worth doing a clone?

If you track your car absolutely go cloned and get it tuned. Piggybacks don't have the best rep in equally distributed power band.
