My car currently has a similar crash but not so severe (e.g. mine drops to ~2300, when the target is 2450, but only in 2nd or 3rd gear pulls). Which gear was this log taken in? TBH I don't think there is anything wrong with the tune, just a need for a better fuel pump - either the B58 or Supra ones would be do. B58 pumps can be had for ~£230 used, but would need minor modification to fit. The other option without going to expensive aftermarket pumps would be the Supra B48 pump, but that needs more work to fit and will be more expensive - there is an active thread on this at the moment. I've reached out to Halim in 4 different ways over the last week or so. No response. This is 4th gear btw. For future reference, the log shows what gear you're in. |

I think I will do the B48 HPFP mod - it is only a slight improvement (~6% more fuel), but it's enough to pretty much cover the fuel deficit I currently have. I do not want to spend 2K on an XDI pump. Last edited by widetyres; 01-18-2020 at 03:29 PM.. |

If you are going to try a different map, I would suggest the Stage 2 91 - PTF have recommended before to drop back to the 91 maps if a car is having issues with the 93 version. If you don't have the license for this already, they may allocate it to you when they respond to your call (they did similar for me when I ran into knock issues on stage 1 93 before). |

I tried stage 2 91 for the first time and I noticed the cold start is muffled. Before the flash I custimzed the settings prior knowing stage 2 has cold start off by default, so I turned it on (OEM). I do noticed it's muffled and also when driving too somewhat.
I've been mixing 100 octance to achieve 93oct gas recently so I've been moving up slowly on the map ladder. I was on the stage 2 ACN 91 with 93 gas prior and my cold start was fine and car sounded great. I also noticed the stage 2 ACN 91 it doesn't show u need downpipe+FMIC. But the regular stage 2 91 states that u need. I do have both and I'm not sure if its the stage 2 91 that is making my cold start muffled. Perhaps this is why by default they code it off? |
