Second tire rack, also see if you have mobile tire installer in your area, the tire shipped to them and they come to you. Best thing that’s ever happened.

Had flat after owning less than 1000 miles. Lost the entire day has to cancel 50 patients. Immediately bought spare at bimmerlife or something like that. It’s big and takes up a decent amount of trunk space... but better than wasting the whole day

Like a full size spare or a donut? Can you link it please so we can see one that fits the M2C?

1. Glad that only the tire was damaged...

2. Crazy that the dealer put a CUP 2 on...as noted above, this needs to be changed ASAP!

3. These are the times when non-runflats with BMW's tire inflation system suck. And a plug system won't work for the kind of damage you experienced. About 10 years ago my M5's tire hit debris on the freeway and I had to do the whole roadside assistance thing. Fortunately, I convinced the tow guy to toe me to Discount Tires rather than the dealer, which is of course is not supposed to happen.

4. Since then, I bought a BimmerZone space-saver spare for both the M5 and Z4M coupe. However, the one for the M2 is only for 2016-2018, as it will not clear the brakes on the M2C. If that changes, I'll pick one up.

I often get a spare. I did for a 335is once switched from non-RFTs (and did a 4500 mile trip). I got the factory spare option for an M550i, to the detriment of 4" of trunk space height. And the X3M seems to have a spare as standard. Also loosing 4" of load height compared to the standard X3.

No spare yet for the M2C.

Space saver. But not a tiny donut. Looks like maybe for x5/x3?

The wheel is from a X5M

The tire is a Kumho T131 - Size 135/70/19 (aproximately 26.7" in diameter)

I think the Continental CST 17 - Size 125/70/19 (approximately 25.9" in diameter) would be a better choice for people running stock or smaller than stock diameter size tires, although it is a bit more expensive

Check out my spare wheel and tire thread for more specs, thoughts and info

This tool got me to the dealer for new Michelin PS4s, as I was close to the wear indicators anyway.

Was planning to pick up a puncture kit for future long trips. Link to what you've got?
That's quite a screw you picked up there.

New townhomes going up at the entrance to my neighborhood.

One front flat before Thanksgiving, one rear flat before Christmas.

The right front never lost a pound of air, the rear was bad and bubbled out air right after plugging it. Checked tire prices on Tire Rack, then called dealer and they worked with me on the price, along with $150 off fund raiser if you bring in 5 canned goods.

Pumped it up before driving to the dealer when the tires arrived.

Amazon has it too.
