Anyone try the new Cup2 Connect (240) ?

I believe the Cup2 Connect 240 is the optional tire for the M2CS. I'm curious as to how they perform compared to the old Cup2 with the 180 wear rating.

Only thing I've seen somewhat concrete is TR's comparison vs a few TW200 high end tires: https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests...y.jsp?ttid=262. It's of course not on an M2C/CS nor in the same size, so...

I haven't found much either. Since the new tread wear rating has been substantially increased it makes sense that it doesn't stick as well, but ya never know how Michelin works it's wizardry.

Me too, I'm hoping for a review that shows better performance, longer wear, quieter and more comfort. Am I asking for too much? 😂

I have ran these for about 5k street miles and two track days now. Still have a lot of life! I've killed a set of the old cup 2's in a single track day before. These hold up a lot better. As far as comfort, it's a track tire and you hear the contact patch with the road. It's not bothersome to me. Rain performance seems better as well but might just be in my head.

A YouTuber did a quick review. Looks a bit too much information for my liking.

I have them and love them. I run them on my BBS e88s 265/35 & 295/30 - 18x10.5/11

Only for October/November this year before I had to pull em off for the colder temps here in Atlanta. They still grip quite will even though they are 240 vs the old 180.

How would you compare them to MPSS? I'm tempted by the MPS4S but I've read some reviews that indicate that they are not as communicative at the limit as MPSS. When I'm in the twisties, the breakaway point is the magic. I wish I could try them all myself.

Cup2/Cup2Connect are far superior in terms of grip compared to the MPSS and MP4S. I will say that I've had experience with them all. Cup2>MP4S>MPSS.
