Fitment
Looking for new Track Tires for my 18 M2. Considering 265/35/18 Yokahama AO52 on 9.5" Apex Wheel front with 28 Offset. Rears will be 295/30/18 on 10.5" Apex wheel with 40 Offset. Anyone see any fitment issues with this. I Know Yokahama Tires run wide. Worried about rubbing.

I have similar specs wheels coming and still trying to decide on tire sizes. I'm leaning towards the 265/35 - 295/30 as this seems to be a common size used by a lot of members. The thing is there's only 1 real good tire option IMO, the A052. The Michelin connect is way more expensive. I'm also considering 255/40 - 275/40, cheaper and slighter more tire options available.
Rubbing will be based on how low you are and might require more camber if you too low.

If you start to push the car or if you plan to do auto-x/track days you definitely need camber plates or else you will tear up the outside shoulder of the tires.

I'm going to order a set soon as well. They tend to run a bit bigger ie square shoulders vs my Cup2 which are more rounded. I think I may actually swap them to my e88s and then move my Cup2s to the REs I have for fun.

So got the wheels and tires mounted. Drove the car pretty hard yesterday and have zero rubbing issues with the 295/30. I am lowered too btw. Tires feel great, quiet, and are exactly what I was looking for in terms of grip and handling.
Still have to dial in the ride height and then will do an alignment. So it should only get better.
