Can I use OEM wheel bolts w/ a 5mm spacer?

Enquiring minds want to know.

Can I use the OEM BMW wheel bolts (and lock bolt) on the front wheels of my 2020 M2C if I use a 5mm/.2" spacer?

I'd figure 5mm/.2" is probably not a thing, but I figured I'd double-check w/ The Collective.

Thanks--

R.

The smart answer is no. Just get extended lugs.

In reality you probably could. But I would highly caution against it.

I didn't realize that they were so easy to find. That's simple enough.

Suggestions on where to find them inexpensively? Or, what the OEM M2C dimensions are for a wheel lug?

Of course, I suppose that this makes getting a wheel lock that's 5mm longer and matches the other locks problematic. Grr.

TIA--

R.

You probably won't find extended wheel locks very easily.

Where did you get the spacers from? They generally come with extended lugs.

You can find the extended lug bolts all over. Here's some from bimmerworld

https://www.bimmerworld.com/Wheels-T...Bolts-M14.html

You'll want ones that are M14x1.25.

I ordered the spacers from Apex with the wheels. I'll see what they have in the way of lugs and locks since I'm on back order anyway.

Thanks!

Apex sells stud kits or extended lugs. Reach out to them and have them added to your order. They'll know exactly what you need.
