I could be wrong but Ive read spring rates are the same between sport and track and that drop height is the difference with track being lower. I read that on another non BMW forum though... it doesn't make any sense either?! |

My bad - single spring upfront for sport & track versions ✅

They're not assister springs (though they could be mistaken for them) they are far too thick and are actively involved at all times.

I've ordered the MSS set and will report back once fitted. I know a couple of owners locally here in Australia who have the KWs and initially thought they were good.
We have crappy roads here (similar to UK) and those same owners are now reporting too much stiffness, and too much bounce. Look up Joe Achilles video with the new MSS set up. He makes some good observations about losing traction on his previous stiff schnitzer springs. The MSS's are soaking up the bad roads but still handle as good as the stock. That sold it for me. The ride height drop is a bonus, and you don't even need to change it from stock if you don't want to. |

MSS costs about 50% more and has trick dual rate rear spring set up.
KW HAS which has single springs all round - progressive rate at the front and linear rate at the rear IIRC. If wanting a more compliant road biased setup, then MSS sport makes sense. If wanting more track focussed, then KW HAS is probably the way to go as it goes lower (AFAIK based on what I've read) and probably runs stiffer springs.

KW HAS lowers up to 20mm. MSS lowers 0-30mm. You'd have to wait until you get more reviews from customers that have gone on track before making that judgement. I believe you know Dino who has the MSS on his M2 and was happy with the performance on the track. |

Good to know MSS goes lower and its 2hrs to install. Why is MSS install faster than KW HAS ? Yes I know Dino and MSS on std dampers looks like a cracking product - shame I have MPerf coilovers already, else I might have been paying you a visit ! I have a pal with M135i who's on the fence - trying to encourage him to go MMS via Evolve BP

I'm almost worried you can't over power the wheels and have some fun watching Joe floor it in second on a damp day in an M2C no less and make only progress!
But then I want a less jostled ride...hmm |

Is it possible to just lift the car and simply adjust, is it reachable easily in "home " environment? |

Anyone know if there is any issue with the bump-stop when fitting the MSS springs and lowering ride-height?
At some point the bump stops come into play, and the point at which this happens is determined by the amount of spring compression and shock travel. If you lower using the MSS approach, you'll have used less spring compression before the bump-stop than if you hadn't, and will therefore hit the bump-stop harder and more frequently. Or am I understanding things incorrectly?
