Question for anyone with a Remus exhaust on their M2 Comp, in particular the Sport version. Just had it installed and it sounds awesome, however was wondering how the flaps should operate in Efficient, Sport, and Sport+. At idle, the valves are closed in all three modes. In Sport and Sport+ it opens only when giving it throttle, then closes back up again. Does anyone know if this is how it’s supposed to work or is it supposed to stay open all the time in Spirt and Sport+?

The aftermarket valved exhausts follow the same weird valves behavior of the OEM exhaust (they are controlled by the ecu not by the exhaust), if you want them always opened you need a specific flap controller.

I did not realize that the OEM behavior was that way. Good to know. Thanks _RS4_ appreciate the info!
