Edit: maybe that was a press car. Went through that jungle looking for my 1M. Or another possibility it was tracked and improperly cooled-down. This also points to it being a press car. Perillo BMW of Chicago has been known to resell them.
You need to drive it hard, you know... my brand new discs look worse than that in 1 hour of track duty.

Ours look very similar! I've done 13 trackdays and 22,000 kms and here's how mine look, 3rd set of pads for these rotors also.
