Mercedes MO1 spec PS4S

Long story short, TireRack mistakingly sent me 245/35ZR19 front tires that are the Mercedes MO1 spec of the PS4S.

The rears they sent me are regular 265/35ZR19 PS4S.

It definitely doesn't feel right to me to have mismatched specs on front vs rear .. right?

So has anyone tried running these Mercedes MO1 spec PS4S tires? Wondering if I should return the fronts or the rears. Right now I'm leaning towards returning the front Mercedes spec tires since it seems weird to me to run Mercedes spec tires on an M2. Anyone have experience here?

The Star spec PS4S is made for a BMW, but NOT your BMW, and to that end I'd rather have the Merc than the Star. The MTP was the tire you needed, but I suspect it's nearly identical to the Merc.

I don't know what car the MO spec PS4S are from but I don't think you would have too much of a problem. It may not be worth the hassle to return.

You won't notice the difference between all the different compounds unless you are tracking them. And if you're tracking the 4s you're probably not an advanced driver.

Surprised you just didn’t go with Discount Tires. They will match Tire Racks prices and sometimes are lower. Then you also have a local installer.

Tire rack is now owned by discount if I'm not mistaken, since 2021…

You are right. I didn’t know that. Thanks for the information.
