Are these tyres worn out?

I recently took my car for a service at a local mechanic and he said the edge of the tyre was finished. I was just wondering if you guys agree with this [IMG][/IMG]

Depends on if you're driving 100 mph in the rain or not. I wouldn't consider them worn out, but I'd certainly correct that toe issue.

I am wondering if he tracked the car. Could be track wear or a bad toe adjustment. But the tire is not near the wear bars, so no it is not worn out.

Personally I'd rock them through the rest of the year then put on a fresh pair in the spring

Yeah, looks weird being just in that specific spot. I don't know enough about track wear on tires to tell the difference, but definitely I've heard the M2 wears the outside of the fronts pretty badly if you don't increase the negative camber.

If you continue in a short time you will reach the wires, do you have the car lowered? You have a lot negative camber.

Yeah I have it lowered about 1" in the front and there is a slight alignment issue

Is that wear only on one tyre or both?

Try aligning the wheels, it's too much wear for 2.5cm.
With the alignment adjusted you will still be able to use that tyre.

Have you gone to the track with that tire or not?

The wear is inside, the track has nothing to do with it.

I'm guessing with the tread pattern those can't be swapped L to R to get that on the outside. Then fix the alignment? There's a lot of life left in that tire if you can fix the alignment
