As with you, I do nothing to my car except drive the piss out of it. . . and routine mechanical maintenance.

That being stated, I have come to recognize and respect that they are not just cars to everyone. Cars take on different value and meaning to each individual owner. I simply applaud the manner in which others display pride in ownership.

Overall, I think you and I are on the lonely end of a spectrum when it comes to aesthetics . . . but hope such is not the case when it comes to driving enjoyment.

Thoughts on the thickness and feel of the wheel vs stock? Also, worth losing the heated function?

I would, but the "Get Shite Done" list is taking priority-- e.g. I need to get the mountain bikes hung in the garage to get the GS in the garage to keep my wife's Miata in the garage-- and therefore avoid WWIII.

But, of course the only place that the bike rack will fit isn't quite big enough, so with a few hours of mulling things over and a few trips to Home Despot & Lowes, I designed a way to get it hung with bumpers to keep the sliding rails from hitting lights, walls, garage struts, etc.

It was harder than you'd think.

But, that all needs be done before I go "play"-- the price of being married, I suppose.

R.

Was just trying to be funny, he can of course do whatever he wants with his car . I too very much care about my cars, am extremely careful with it, just dont go nuts with ppf etc. I take good enough care of my cars that maybe I fall in the above average category. You'll never find a speck of dirt or trash, or a ding in any of my cars, and I've even started washing my M2C myself...LOL! But that's the extent of my carefulness. You've got a very enthusiast group on these boards, so definitely feels like being on the opposite end, but I am sure you and I are not

I know you were just having fun but, as you say, 'very enthusiastic group.'

For that matter, I did not mean to suggest you trash your vehicle. Nor do I . . . unless benign neglect falls under such category.

My car came with the v2 wheel as port option. I like it. It's much thicker than the standard wheel on the car I test drove. Never had a car with heated wheel so I don't know what I'm missing. I drive a TT most days so this car is for the nice days.

M Performance knob added. Pretty content with the interior now. Good amount of dry carbon added to my piano black interior. It's a good mix of the two.

Got the M Perf spoiler installed today at Performance Technic in Fremont CA. Would have done it myself but I don't trust my skill of alignment for a visual mod.

My first time at their shop. Great dudes, good labor price and some awesome cars in for work. Checked out a 550 whp lbb M2c with upgraded turbos they had hanging out.

To boot, they had a barber in there and offered me a haircut while I waited. They fixed my quarantine self made fade 😂

Both the car and myself left lookin good.

AZ-Wildcat & leftcoastq , DM me your # and let's arrange a drive for this weekend.

Is the MP knob from IND? Does it use the OEM alcantara boot?

I dropped by PTech after lunch today (also first time) to see about getting Ohlins installed - bummed that I missed you. I certainly need a haircut as well.

Thank you, it’s held on with Velcro just to see how it would look I would never drill the front bumper.
