Ideal spacers for OG M2 with 763m and KW V3
Looking to mount M Performance wheels 763m on the original size tires 245/35/19 265/35/19. What would be the ideal spacers setup giving that the car is slightly lowered with KW V3 ?
Thank you! |

12mm front and 10mm rear is the most common recommendation with OEM wheels and tyre size.
If you get any rubbing with these, it will be the tyre tread on the arch liner Which is a side effect of the lowering, not the spacers. If by slightly lowered you mean 15-20mm, you won’t have any problems at all. |

Some minor rubbing over big dips. I'm on a KW HAS kit and while it's very comfortable, it's also a bit bouncy. Probably wouldn't have any issues at a slightly higher ride height or with proper coilovers on stiffer settings.

The ideal spacer literally depends on the drop.
OG, no rub, no poke, standard sized tires: Stock height: 8/6 Dropped to standard 595/600: 12/10 Slammed: 15/12 M2C, no rub, no poke, standard sized tires: Stock height: 6/6 Dropped to standard 595/600: 10/10 Slammed: 12/12 |

You're only looking at -1° more than standard, and depending on the tire, I'd say you're only looking at 5mm at the most. You might get away with a 20mm front spacer, but certainly a 15.

Speaking as someone who has an OG with OEM tire sizes, is working with OEM camber adjustments, and has tried multiple spacer combinations: visually I think the best way to pair it would be to go with a 15F/12R (if you want to play it safe). If you want it to look really aggressive go with an 18F/15R (but be aware that it could cause some rubbing depending on your ride height). I tried 12/10 because it was recommended by everyone and their mother on here and it was disappointing and didn't fill the arches the way I was expecting. I'm at 15F/15R now and I feel like the front could use a couple more mm but since I'm already getting some rubs on occasion and am unwilling to raise my ride height, I think I'm staying put for now. If I were you I'd try both (15F/12R and 18F/15R) and return/sell the set (12/18) you decide not to keep.

Interesting. I'm showing them to be identical in spec.

Yeah they're the same sizes but they definitely don't appear similar when it comes to the side profile. I'm sure sidewall stiffness and PSI plays a part in that.

Here's 12.5/10 on KW V3. Previously had 10/7.5 and it just wasn't enough.

I run 1.85 front, 1.60 rear for the street, bump the front up to 2.85 for track.
The street setup with this camber needed 15mm front and 7.5mm rear spacer to be nice and flush. The 12/10 spacers are good for stock camber (1.5 front, 1.8 rear) |
