IND | Future Classic Wheel Spacer Kit

Future Classic has made a name for itself by creating bespoke, ultra-high quality products since its infancy. Their existing reputation has set the bar high for first journey into the automotive parts world, but our exclusive first look at the product confirms that they have quite literally exceeded every expectation.

CNC precision machined + pocketed design for minimum rotational mass

Chamfered edges and machining detail work

Hub bolt sits beneath the spacer surface to ensure zero interference with wheel

A wheel spacer is not a new invention by any means, but Future Classic has taken steps to revisit the product from the ground up. The quest was simple: to build the best wheel spacer kit at the highest quality standard possible. Partnering with Fall-Line Motorsports to build and test the prototypes in true motorsport conditions has made that dream a reality—the Future Classic wheel spacer is not only a visual treat but a marvel to handle—its machining and finishing work reflects FC’s commitment to detail, every piece of it feels engineered and massaged to the tightest tolerances. But that’s only the beginning.

FC 15mm spacer on Fall-Line Motorsports E92 M3 widebody race car

To create the most complete wheel spacer kit, Future Classic has painstakingly sourced a complimentary suite of products that are included in every box—four hub bolts, race worthy Copaslip copper anti-seize, an anti-seize applicator brush, and of course, wheel bolt hardware. Within each spacer there are four provisions to fit two hub bolts. The four provisions account for the different hub bolt positions on varying BMW models, which is an incredibly nice touch. Coupled with the best anti-seize on the market and chamfered edges, you can rest assured that even under the most grueling driving conditions, your FC spacer will come off without a fight.

FC Spacer Fitment Validation on OEM BMW hubs (F8X, E9X hubs shown)

Echoing Future Classic’s racing enthusiasm, the first “livery box” set is fashioned in motorsport design, the Porsche variant wearing the infamous “Pink Pig” garb whereas the BMW box is adorned with the iconic Frank Stella 3.0 CSL art car print. Over time, the boxes will wear different designs to give customers a little backstory to the liveries before their eyes, a detail that breathes Future Classic through and through.

Indeed, detail is what really sets the Future Classic wheel spacer apart from the rest. It reminds us all of why we got into this business in the first place—to offer only the very best and to educate the automotive community how to acknowledge and appreciate quality. Handling these spacers, you can feel an inherent pride in how they were imagined, manufactured, and assembled into such a complete kit. Like any top quality part, it makes you feel incredibly special to fit these to your car and we at IND feel an immense honor to be the first to introduce these to you today.

Product Details:

  • Complete kit includes: two competition wheel spacers, ten extended length zinc plated lug bolts, four hub bolts, Copaslip copper anti-seize, and an anti-seize applicator brush
  • CNC precision machined from 6061-T6 aerospace aluminum
  • Black anodized finish for corrosion and wear resistance
  • Provisions to secure spacer to hub for competition use
  • Hubcentric design with chamfered edges
  • Pocketed detailing for minimum mass

Like that spacers secure to hub... But some said for anything under 10mm, we should go with Turner Motorsport as it has extended hub ring lips. Is that true?

I run turner 10mm all around. Zero issues.

These have been selling exceptionally well for us actually, though I think many haven't posted too much about them. As a personal vouch, I'm running them on my E36 / E46—I think they are certainly amongst the best on the market and I value the comprehensive nature of the kit itself. Definitely feels like an engineered piece rather than a piece of aluminum with holes in it.

Per FC's blog, they are also the lightest versus the alternatives:

WEIGHT COMPARISON:

H&R 10mm: 0.88lbs
Macht Schnell 10mm: 0.63lbs
Turner 10mm: 0.59lbs
FC 10mm: 0.54lbs

-----------

H&R 12mm: No Data
Macht Schnell 12mm: 0.75lbs
Turner 12mm: 0.72lbs
FC 12mm: 0.65lbs

-----------

H&R 15mm: No Data
Macht Schnell 15mm: 0.94mm
Turner 15mm: No Data
FC 15mm: 0.80lbs

Hubcentric is important, absolutely. Generally for spacers under 10mm, there will be enough room on the OE locating ring to accept the wheel. For spacers that are 10mm and above, most reputable companies will incorporate a locating ring (as you say extended hub ring lip) to ensure the wheel has a suitable surface area to accept the wheel.

The Future Classic spacers have this extended hub centric area for spacers 10-18mm to preserve the hub area required to mount the wheel securely.

Happy to help answer any further questions—feel free to post up or shoot me a PM!

Here are a few taken just before we set it back on the ground. I'd take one with the wheels on, but the car is back on stands for a big fuel upgrade my husband has planned. Will update once it's back on the ground. Not sure why the pics are rotated.. Odd
