All parts involved in carbon strutbrace and bulkhead brace.

It completely braces the entire front end of the car(multiple attachment points). There is a reason why reviews have mentioned feeling a tighter front end.

What you doing with the cowls off, JB4 install? Or just checking out the bracing?

I removed the strut brace off the m2c the other day, the m3/4 brace apparently had 3 bolts in the top piece, it looks like the m2c on has 2. I ran into a few issues when removing the brace off the m2c. I don’t think really is anything different than the m3/4.

It is the the exact same parts from M3/M4, see above pic. A little over $2000 in parts to retrofit braces on OG M2. Same setup BMW Motorsport installs on all M235I Racing’s sent out to teams.

I think all the parts are the same, someone may be able to confirm this for me, but on the m3/4 are there 3 bolts holding it in on the top of each side of the brace. Looks like the m2c only has 2 (even though it has 3 holes in the top). Only difference I noticed between the two.

Yes it looks the additional corner stiffeners on m3/4 aren't installed on m2c hence why there's a spare hole in alloy brace

So... looking at RealOEM, it appears that the covers between the windshield bottom trim and the strut mounts are different, as are the trims around the bonnet hinges.

Do any M2C owners have pictures to confirm this?

That picture just says to me the carbon piece is pure eye candy. It ads nothing to the rigidity of that aluminium brace.

Replaces the braces at the front, so it's stopping something moving. Plus, it was originally fitted to the M235i Racing, where they wouldn't bother if it wasn't useful.

Does look good though.
