They seem very close now, might as well buy it! Is there a code for the sale?

That would seem risky. Would be nice of them to come in here and update on progress and reassure us. I may too jump on a sale this weekend IF I knew the OBD flash option was a done deal for 2020 cars.

I don't see a sale on their website though.

I think it's very likely that they are working hard on this because even currently tuned cars are at risk if they get serviced and updated at the dealer. This would make too many current customers furious to not have a solution in case that occurs.... Just my .02

Same... had just contacted a local distributor for a ECU override/hack 2 weeks ago, but he ended up not replying to my questions. Based on the above message, hopeful I won't have to.
Can't wait to have the CS+ tune running again.

PTF officially released their support for the a90 Supra today. I have high hopes that they turn their attention back to the m2c.

hopes that they will surely destroy. :/

What type of performance difference between Stage 2 and stage 1? Is it a big difference? At the moment I'm running Stage 1 with a AA mid-pipe and itching to go high flow cat DP pipe if I can find one worthy.

I'm confused, how come some of you are getting your OBD ports locked? Is it only certain cars or years, mine is 2019 and I've already flashed mine with stage 1 BM3, should I now have an issue flashing with stage 2? was there an updated on BM3 platform in which I'll have an issue with change a tune now????

Yes, all M2Cs with a build date of late February and on are affected.

I'm still not following. Correct me if I'm wrong the only people that are having issues are the ones that never were able to BM3 (newer M2c's) or everyone that has already successfully tuned with BM3?

Everyone that bought a car past February AND all cars that have since then been at the dealer for maintenance.
Mine was flashable until recently, but at 30k maintenance, new software was installed by the dealer which resulted in a locked DME (or at least that's my understanding of what happened).

Oh so I'm good lol, but seriously I actually had the first service done and then purchased BM3 and it worked (the only way to tell from what I heard). So as long as you don't go and get any new updates your good to go. Sad. Hopefully, BM3 gets it figured out for those people.

Hey guys, wondering if I can get some advice. I'm still not getting a sure answer yes or no if I can run the stage 2 map on my car. I've asked BM3 customer service prior and they told me I must run an aftermarket dp be it may catless or high flow even though I did mentioned I'm running AA mid-pipe which I thought may help a little regarding having less restrictive exhaust with fewer cats. The reason I ask this is I see some guys running stage 2 map 93 maps on their m3/m4's and the platform should be near the same, yes? So I'm confused, can I run stage 2 with my M2 comp with AA mids or do I need a dp? Though I do want more power I really don't want to be full catless since I don't have any secondary cats anymore.

This is a post from the m3/m4 forums.

You can’t without a downpipe. M3/M4 downpipes are way different. Just kidding of course you can!

Of course you can run stage 2 without DPs, just you won't get the full benefit of the map but it will still be markedly better than a stage 1.
