After 4 track days, the pad wear between front and rear is pretty much identical.

Also, since the 2500s and 1.11s share the same compound, you can switch between them without having to rebed the pads everytime. This is a pretty nice perk if you plan to run 2500s on the street.
Glad to hear that! Yes, planning on DS2500 for street, so this setup makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the reply!

You can't go wrong with the DS2500.

Just wanted to circle back and update on my DS1.1 front and DS2500 rear pads for track use. The DS1.1 were excellent at Daytona. No brake issues whatsoever after 8 x 30min sessions over two days. Rotors were fine and pad wear was nice and even. Lots of compliments from instructors and other drivers on the M2C brake package. Later, I swapped to DS2500 for street use and they are very smooth with no noise. Not cheap pads but the performance was as advertised. Thanks for the advice received here 👍.

Attached pics are of pads/rotor after the weekend, and clean caliper when switching back to street setup.

Nice! Glad they're working out for you. I'm stuck up here in the cold north and have to wait till April to get back on the track.

Hey, gives me some time to do some winter time upgrades. Have a boatload of parts going on

I'm using DS2500s all around for street and fun laps at the track.

In my experience, these can be very noisy once warm. But it sounds like others have found them to be quiet. For comparison, my stock pads made zero noise.

That is an excellent combo for street and track.

We have lots of happy customers using the Ferodo pads.

Ditto...ran DS2500 on the track but as my skill level and braking increased the DS 2500 front pads melted onto the rotors surface....ended up with brake judder.
I then swapped to the DS 1.11 on the front (DS 2500 on the rear)...they cleaned off the build up left by the DS 2500 on the fronts. So now I have joined the DS2500 front and rear for street .... and .....then swap to DS 1.11 front and DS 2500 rear for track days.....it works well, next step is to get some sort of ducting to improve cooling.

For the Folks with M2Cs (with the 2NH)...what are the part #s for Ferodo DS2500 and DS 1.11s for the front and rears? I'm a bit new to the M2C and I can't seem to find pads listed when looking online via matching the vehicle Make and Model and Year.

Front shape: FCP4712
Rear shape: FCP1281

The last letter in the part number denotes the compound.

DS2500: H
DS1.11: W

So if you want a full set of DS1.11's. You'd want FCP4712W and FCP1281W.

I personally prefer to run 1.11s in the front, and 2500s in the rear.

Great thread. I really like the idea of running the 2500 all around for the street. Then upping to the 1.11 in the front for track. My M2 is my daily and I don’t want to mess with the brakes anymore than needed to get to the track.
