Lightbulb Test Car

In the forum of our German fellows, the OP (a user which seems to work @ M Performance) stated that the M Performance Parts for the M2 Competition were actually tested and developed on this car.

Interesting if these seats actually make it to their parts list. Overall a very nice ($$$) package. Love that it makes the existing M2 still relevant.

Now how about some fun bits for under the CF hood...

Not sure what you mesn by „I'd rather see carbon hood..."

The car above has the carbon hood, roof and trunk installed However, installing all those, costs around 15-20k...

Interesting, the front seats seem to be an evolution of the M Performance seats for the E90 cars. Same airbag module at the outside.

High bolsters and pass through for harnesses - I’d get these if they are in the $4-5k range in a heartbeat.

In my case I not only love the wheel but it's fantastic in gold. They also come in black of course.

I'm not a fan of the murdered out look with black on black so the gold is an awesome contrast for me. My car gets plenty of attention with stock wheels in the paddock , but on track, a black car doesn't get a lot of love from the photographers without a splash of color to catch their eye.

I like the 763M as well. Certainly better than the new wheel on the M2 comp.

I really like the pinstripe around everything, really sets it off. I especially like the pinstripe side stickers rather than the big color blocks. But gold wouldn't work for all car colors, I wonder if there's a plan for multiple color options.

This is exactly what I wanted out of a M2 CS/CSL! Lighter, but still usable. Still with back seats, no silly gold roll cage and unusable splitter. CF body panels, CF seats, etc. It's just missing more power and a completely revised suspension.

The one thing I don't like is how they replace the M2 badge with "M Performance" since someone with a 228 can slap on the M Performance trunk and it would look the same.

... Now that I think about it ... a 228 with a Dinan tune and all the M Performance CF bits would make one hell of a light weight track machine.

I should had been more clearer, i was referring to the "small" carbon bits (grill and interior bits) being pointless in terms of actual weight savings, and rather spend it on the bigger pieces (hood, roof, panels etc).

Wow- exactly what I would want the interior of the CS to look like. Now just put in a 6MT and give it an MSRP.

Can this be bought? Those seats are way nicer than the Competition, and they look manual too which hopefully means they are a bit lower.

Lots of cool stuff.

I don't like the fenders personally.
