Remus Sport & AA mid installed (w/ pics)

Picked up the system locally from a fellow member here, it was barely used and in fantastic condition (thanks @cntzl)! I love the new sound when you get on it, sporty and deeper but in no way over the top or obnoxious. When driving in comfort it's just as quiet as stock which is great when you want to be stealthy. Zero drone on the highway in either Sport+ or Comfort modes. I have also coded ASD off after the install.

Here are some pics of the system installed, this is fitted with the 102mm carbon tips with titanium internals:

Looks awesome. I can't wait to remove the stock system and cleanup the rear end.

Night and day in terms of cleaning up the look! I may need to go in for a small adjustment, I think it hangs a little low

Sweet! I'm curious, why did cntzl move away from this fine setup?

Looks great! Glad it found a good home And yes, I'm selling my car to eventually get a more family friendly car. M2C has been a great car for me especially for track duty but due to my job and family reasons, I won't be tracking it nearly as much this year and the car will be sitting in the garage mostly (I mostly daily drive my Miata). That's why I decided to let it go... Anyways, enough threadjack, enjoy your new setup

That is so funny. I remember when you bought the Miata as a stop gap waiting for your M2C. Now you're selling the M2C and keeping the Miata.
Sorry to see you go.

Yup, I would have never thought I was going to love the nearly 20 year old Miata this much. It's not much fun at a high speed track like Laguna but for everything else it's just amazing. I used to laugh at everyone who praises Miatas but as the saying goes "Miata is always the answer" I will definitely replace my M2C with something else some time this year but my Miata is here to stay (unless I trade it in for an ND2 ).

I love it. I’m planning on the same setup. Any idea if there is significant weight savings?

I'd say at least 2lbs!

But in all seriousness I did not weigh systems to compare, if I had to guess maybe 10-15lbs based on dimensions/looks. Someone feel free to chime in if you know!

Saw the car on Performance Technic's Instagram. Looks awesome. Would love to hear it sometime, I've been on the fence b/w this set-up and the Akrapovic system for a while...

Have you read about the new kid in town, "equal length" exhaust? I'm not sure that it's ready for prime time yet, but it looks promising for the S55.

It's not taking anything away from this setup which sounds awesome!

Here you go with an first impression.
Start-Up. Recorded with IP7. You should use a good headphone :-)

Cheers

OP, I like your license plate. Looks like it could be just a standard-issue California plate for those not in the know, but brings a smile to the faces of fellow enthusiasts.
