Never problems when I lowered my 135i with a Bilstein B16 suspension, but this time you are lowering and adding more parts, that asking for problems.

Got no other choice than keeping the suspension stock.

Got to frequently enter a parking facility with a nasty entrance bump. Could not avoid to scrape the 1M bumper from time to time. Hence, lowering my M2 is definitely a no go.

Ground clearance (from higher to lower):
  • BMW M2 = 123mm or 4.84in (source: here)
  • BMW 1M/M3/M4 = 120mm or 4.72in (sources: here, here and here)
  • Cayman GTS = 112mm or 4.41in (ramp angle: 11.3° | approach angle: 9.2° front and 14.4° rear) (sources: here and here)
  • Cayman GT4 = 105mm or 4.13in (ramp angle: 10.2° | approach angle: 6.0° front and 13.3° rear) (sources: here and here)

Luc,

add the following to the list:

F87 M Performance 6MT gear knob & boot
  • 25 11 7 854 545 (LHD)
  • 25 11 7 854 546 (RHD)

I think it's all now.

There is a rubber strip under the front bumper to inform you of a near scrape with more fragile parts and the risk of damage. I wonder if this part is still there when putting the winglets. Could be useful to prevent more serious damage.

So does anyone actually know when these can be ordered in the US? My dealer said it wasn't in their system to order yet. I'm trying to see if I can get them port installed so I don't pay for the labor.

That spoiler on the MG is sweet. Doesn't pop like it would on AW, but I don't like pop on spoilers, myself. I wonder how it would match with the MPerformance diffuser back there...

Does anybody know what kind of change in downforce at speed it gives? I haven't seen that anywhere...

Anyone know if the M235i kidney grills will fit the M2? Is it the same grill?

Yep, save your money and buy the M235i grills, unclip the M2 centres and refix

Nice one, and I was waiting for it!

Now, I don't understand the Track mode thing.

Is it regular Sport+?

I guess you refer to the MPE.

If that happens to be the case, the driver decides when to toggle between:
  • "Sport Mode" (= Normally Rumbling Around);
  • "Track Mode" (= Make Some Noise).
Look 'n listen over here and things will be clear:

You have to keep up with all the posts over here... The PDF was posted a few weeks back in another thread.

I believe this track mode is to get around regulation not allowing flaps on exhausts anymore?

I am sure you will ever notice the "upset balance of the car" if you only fit the rear spoiler.
There is a fix to regain perfect balance after having it 'upset' with the rear spoiler: you gotta use the 'secret rectractable spoiler' that can optionally be fit at the factory, pictured below. Admitted, the size of that 'roof spoiler' is pretty huge.
