Well there you have it, real proof that adaptive LEDS are not standard on US
LCI. the few that did get them free got lucky.

On the "Upholstery" page, it still shows blue stitching on the driver's knee pad - lies!!

At least it shows the proper trim so people can stop complaining about not getting black because a pre-production rendering showed it.

On the build your own site they really exaggerated the analog look of the new gauges.

This would also explain why my picture on the mybmw tracker website updated today to finally show an image of an M2. It kept showing me the grill of an old z4 even after I deleted it and tried uploading a new one.

My SA also reported that the free adaptive LEDs were for "a few early builds" after checking with the higher ups. Not sure where, if anywhere, this is headed.

I noticed that too & had the same thought! They did leave one interior shot in the image gallery showing it still with the black trim tho.

Yay, and I finally got to add my M2 on the MyBMW site. I thought that it was because my car had started production (it's a W37), but it's more likely that the website got updated... sadly...

Looks like I got a pretty good deal at $56,000 for the 2018 with exec package at my dealer. That's $600 under what I would have paid if it was priced out according to the website + destination!

I want knee pad with blue stitching!!!!!

Hopefully once the production is back up running with all the parts available, knee pad with blue stitching is standard for M2. All the interior pictures on updated BMWUSA website show blue stitching. My guess is that's the part ran out at the end of MY17...

I wonder if they dumped the blue stitching pad because the stitching runs across the middle of the pad and it would leave weird marks on people's legs?

Does the black pad have any stitching across the face of it?

Personally I'm digging the LCI as a considerable improvement. The early M2s were great but the LCI is better.

I was also one that had it on my non-exec build as N/C. Would have been interesting if I kept that build and got them as I am a week 36'er. I eventually opted for the exec package because I'm not a gambler and I thought the package was cheap for everything you get.
