Major 2019 vs 2020 M2C Differences?
Hey long time since I was active on this forum but hoping some of the M2ers could help a guy out.
Was about to pull the trigger on a gorgeous 2020 Hockenheim M2 that was substantially discounted, but a 2019 with a very modest number of km just showed up locally for almost 20k less to my door. Anything about a 2019 that should scare me versus a 2020? This is in Canada if that matters. Anything I should be looking out for? Really no brainer in my eyes to not go with the ‘19 considering the delta in cost unless I am missing something. Apologies if this has been beaten to death, search didn’t turn up anything useful for me and I haven’t been active in the board since I sold my last 2. |

To my knowledge the only difference is the 2020 model has slightly darker tail lights. It's very subtle and I can hardly tell a difference.
If there are any other differences I'm not aware of them, so maybe someone else can chime in. |

Sweet! Appreciate the response. I’m psyching myself pretty hard to see this car tomorrow.

Recommend you take to BMW dealer and have them hook up to ECU to confirm there are no engine management flags which could void the factory warranty. Do not take anyone's word for it, including non-BMW dealer.

Thanks for all the help guys.
Closed on a 2019 LBB M2 Comp this afternoon Got them to throw in a 7 year extended warranty and it was the best M2 Comp price with under 20k km I have seen in the country. I think I might have actually paid more for my M235i new back in 2014... |
