Made a new friend! Always cool to meet m2 owners— haven't met one I don't get along with yet! He offered me his HREs for a steal since he recently purchased the same wheel again in 20"s. What do you guys think of them?

I like them, FF04s? I just put a set of FF11 which have the same offsets as those.

This is unrelated but are you closer to KC or St Louis? Also is your license plate a nod to Oblivion?

Yeah sad I missed it, if you’re still in KC in Oct you should check out Octoberfest at Rosana Square. Its an all german car show, some pretty cool Porsches and BMWs come out of hiding.

The thin fine line on the beveled rim protector portion seems to show a lot more than the front. It's tucked in well in the front while very visible for the rear. Is it possible that the rear is not sitting properly on the wheels? If that's even possible. I do feel your pain. I'm a designer myself and I see those little details. The wheels look awesome! But I would like it to be a tad lighter if I'm splitting hair.

That wheel has always had a weird design to me, but it's beautiful for sure. The curb scar is KILLING me. I hate tuner lugs, but the tri-color certainly helps these wheels. Any wheel with a curb scar is out for me, and that includes even the FI-R. |

One thing I've noticed is the very outside of the diffuser where it turns down does have a slightly noticeable gap vs. the stock...can't see it unless you're looking but I wonder if it will flex out over time or if it's just more rigid than the plastic and sits that way. Thought it was just driver side at first, but it's both. Perhaps it's my Hungarian made diffuser vs the earlier Italian made version? Oh wait, that wouldn't make sense... As for the tips, the set designed for the stock system...I do think the carbon part (and the whole tip for that matter) is shorter in length than it should be...would be cleaner under the bumper if the CF part went back further so that you didn't see cutoff from the side angle. Additionally, the tips have the little semicircular cutouts on top where they tighten that would make you think that's there they meet the pins in the stock tips...they don't though. Can't even slide that far back. I thought those two cutouts on each tip were designed to fit there so the tip would be perfectly aligned, hence two cutouts, align one for one side and one for the other. Alas, they are not. All that said, the tips are still great and a massive, MASSIVE improvement over stock. So, I'm very happy overall!

After running Motul RBF600 for a long time, I got tired of changing brake fluid often before track days. I'm doing a brake fluid change to Castrol SRF for a track day coming up.
Also just ordered a Cobra Nogaro today too, to replace my driver's side seat as I got tired of the stock seat since it's the OG M2 and not the M2C.
