Will you be updating CS settings from F8xCS to F87CS in the near future ?

Does any of your software increase the max pressure to 17.5bar? It's my understanding that OE max is 15bar and GTS software increases it to 15.5bar. With clamping pressure of 17.5bar, the OE clutch packs have shown to hold up to 750ft-lb, otherwise at 15.5bar it's 650ft-lb.

Secondly I find it frustrating that I have to find out about these details from open source tuning venues...as a future customer of some type of TCU tuning software, I'm interested in all the details of the changes.

What exactly is that supposed to mean? I thought the N55 M2 already gets to flash the GTS/CS gearbox software.

By "adapted to the M2 (gear steps adapt with driving experience switch)", did you mean it will work properly with the M2 OG, rather than display "C1~C7" as gear indicator on the dashboard and have the car stuck in the Comfort shifting strategy?

Just an FYI for everyone who was complaning about this not working with their existing wifi/bluetooth adapters, the app now supports iOS lightning/enet cables so no need to purchase their wifi adapter if you already have an enet cable. Just need a lightning to enet adapter:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Also, I've been playing with this app and have found (along with two other people I've spoken to) that the M2C MDM (combined with GTS EPS/GHAS) feels looser and more slide friendly than having all three settings in GTS. To me the GTS MDM feels more precision-oriented while the M2C map seems to be more friendly for hooning. Curious if anyone else has had this experience.

I'm waiting for the gear step adaptation to come out so I can flash everything all at once but out of curiosity are you're running GTS EPS/GHAS instead of the M2C EPS/GHAS or is the M2C map only for MDM?

M2C only for MDM. EPS and GHAS is set to GTS.

I want to do some more testing and comparisons to make sure but as of now it seems that combo works best for power sliding

Wondering if this configuration would also be best for the track ?

I think all GTS is best for track, it's more precision oriented while M2C MDM is more for messing around. I'll do more testing this weekend.

Does this app do anything different than the traditional coding methods to get GTS/Euro MDM, etc?

It can flash the DCT, but for the 6MT people like myself they have a dynamic package that will adjust DSC (MDM), GHAS (Diff) and EPS (Steering). There are 4 modes for each: stock, M3/4 CS, M4GTS, and M2C. They can all be adjusted independently of one another. I emailed the team asking about if they code region as well for the MDM settings and they responded that they do code in the EU region (which should add more slip). How true that is IDK, you'd need ESYS to confirm. I had my region set to EU prior to using THOR so It doesn't really make a difference to me as I know I have it no matter what.

All in all this app is great for it's ease of use. I hate fumbling around with ESYS and enjoy using bimmercode and THOR on my phone much more. If you use a cable instead of the wifi adapter you can change your settings in 2 min and don't have to worry about hooking up a battery charger or anything like that.

Have you noticed a difference in the car with EPS and GHAS set to M2C?

My EPS and GHAS are (and have always been) set to GTS. Haven't messed with the M2C settings other than MDM.

I'll play with everything more this weekend when I have some free time.

I was unable to connect with a lightning/enet cable. Itís giving me an error message saying to connect the WiFi dongle. Did you have to change any settings to make it work with a cable?

Yes it's a rather odd and unnecessarily complex process. You have to open the app, and ensure that there is a wifi or cell connection when you do so, so it recognizes that you've purchased the software, then once that's confirmed (you'll see flash now instead of the price next to the package) don't exit out of the app completely, just go back to your home screen (so it's still running in the background). Go to settings and turn on airplane mode. Plug the adapter into your phone and an option called 'ethernet' should appear under settings. Connect and pull the app back up. Hit the car icon in the top right corner of the app and press connect (It make take more than one try). It should say you're connected and then you can go ahead and flash/code.

I really cannot understand what THOR means by saying adapt GTS transmission with N55 M2. There is no drivelogic button below the dct lever in the N55 M2, and when you flash GTS DCT software it upshifts early and downshifts very slowly in auto mode. How will changing to sport mode or mdm mode resolve the lack of drivelogic 3 levels of shifting aggression?
