That's a non-answer. How are they so different?
It's all about the calibrations.

1) Wheel base.

2) Weight.

Interesting that the image of the racing version does not appear to have the dome and vented hood.

Are you saying the stability system is not capable of being adjusted to a car 4" shorter and 25lbs lighter??

I think there is a dome!

Turn up brightness on your phone to 100% and take another look.

But, yeah this is not the CS....it's the Racing version.

Doesn't traction = stability though?

Can you imagine how planted this thing could be, if only it had more appropriate tires?

Not in the time allowed.

The stability management is key.

That's why the tire sizes have not changed.

Yes I can imagine.

They've mastered the balance of the car with the current tire sizes used.

The M240 Racing did, because the car it's based off does. But I haven't heard anything about the M2 Racing. Seems weird they would switch the racing version to ZF especially since it's an inferior transmission. Unless it's because ZF sponsors BMW?

I hope it didn't carry over to the M2CS.

Yea, I'm not buying that one lol. BMW uses the same system in many cars with various weights, tire sizes, wheelbases, etc.

You are actually incorrect.

They start with a basic setting they set up for said car.

Then as they test and tune and data-log, as such it greatly improves through time.

Woot! Other than the red brakes (would have preferred gray or blue options), I like it.

Hopefully I the regular stick M2 performance parts on it - want the carbon fiber side skirts as well.

I really like the larger carbon fiber pattern on roof. Apparently there is a carbon fiber transmission tunnel. Bummed that the gold wheels are a price increase, but I'm ticking the box.
