Good send... which makes me wonder how close the fuel pump vs injectors limits are. Would a fuel pump like this max out the stock injector set up? How much flow can be gained just by changing the fuel pump...

From what I hear, this is the same thing Fuel-It sells (Dinan late to the game)

Tough to say how much more the LPFP helps or not, the problem is the HPFP which has no upgrade at the moment and thus the reason Meth or Port-Injection is used when HPFP can't keep up. Although at your power level is amazing you doing this on 93. Heck I'll be happy at 420whp/490wtq and leave the rest for when I add E85 blends or decide to throw in Meth Injection

proTUNING Freaks and Steve@Fuel-It would definitely know this.

Just got off the phone with Steve from Fuel-It. Guy definitely knows his stuff. Upgrading JUST the LPFP won't change anything. The stock injectors, LPFP, and HPFP all have very similar limits. Their port injection kit sounds the way to go. He has a few clients that are actually running PI with just 93oct and had awesome results. Steve also said that because of the specs on my build that meth would be very risky because of how much I wold be leaning on it for fueling, not cooling. Right now plan A is Fuel-It's platinum PI kit, combined with their LPFP upgrade. Then get a 93oct map AND an E85 map developed.

Of course this is the most expensive approach

I hear ya! I have a friend running Port Injection right now and he's going too rich hahaha so both require some fine-tuning regardless. (Both have Pros/Cons).

agarcia5433 is running Meth Injection on his FBO 335 Stock Turbos & Bootmod3 he works with MPI (Miami Performance Inc) also did 446whp 570wtq on Stock Turbo lol #BM3 #FTW , would be good to see what Dzenno & Halim at PTF suggest? I know there's plenty of F80 M3/M4 and F10 M5/M6 running BM3 + Meth.

Since I remember you said there's no E85 stations around your track available.

Yeah those number are impressive but I bet it feels like a 991 turbo down low and a civic up top. All with zero traction. Those number make me question life really haha.

I think the drivability and smoothness of the pure stage 2 even on stock boost levels would be a nice combo. Since we are hitting 15-15.5 psi. Pure stage 2 with TBI injection to run 19-21psi would be the sweet spot for me, I hope it possible.

I really wish Fuel-it and not Vargas turbos would take on a HPFP solution. An upgraded single barrel or a double barrel like the s55 would be awesome. Surely someone can figure it out.

I just don't like the idea of adding another variable to the equation with PI. Although the new mustang just added PI on top of DI haha

The more I research meth the more I'm interested in it. A 3 gallon tank looks like it would last me a pretty long time. I just flashed version 6 today and it is noticeably smoother. I did about 5 pulls and only 2 of which felt like they had slight HPFP issues near redline. Maybe only a revision away from heading back to the dyno . Once my current setup is done I will probably go with whatever proTUNING Freaks recommends for fueling.

ya adding another variable is what scares me. BUT I do want to finish off my build... at this point I'm in so deep I sort of have to lol

Honestly the dip that shows up on the dyno doesn't feel like that. It pulls to redline but looses a little refinement at 6k plus. BUT version 6 of the map I'm running right now is a significant improvement over the V5 map that is on the dyno chart. Out on the street (in Mexico) between 120-150 is a whole lot of OMG OMG OMG

Should get it on another dyno session to see if the new map cleaned up that curve a bit...definitely a lot of room for improvement...the Stage 2 Pure Turbos have made over 500rwhp on the M2 with an E85 mix.

Rpm axis on the dyno would be a better comparison too.

The overall dyno is definitely 10x better than the JB4 wobble though.

Not sure where you are in Canada, but Esso has 93 oct in the GTA.
Not sure if there are Esso stations near you.

I was the one in the MW F80 hanging out with you for a few hours.

probably not the right place to ask this question, but is there anyone who can do a custom tune + PURE turbos for my 2013 N55 X5?

I definitely will be doing a final 93oct dyno once everything is smoothed out near redline. I'm already running an updated version of the map that feels better. Any new dyno runs will be posted on the thread with the RPM info

Diff is holding up, it's still in one piece lol. Everything from the diff to the tranny feels great.

1st and 2nd gear I cant just floor it. Car is 100% driveable, just need to be a little smart about it. I think 1st and 2nd will get better in a few weeks once I go with 265s upfront and 285s on the rear.

From my research HP came in about where I expected for an N55, I think for me (and everyone) TQ came in much higher than expected. At the end of the day it's an N55... S55 will always be superior.
