The bulge has the unquestionable aerodynamic advantage.

Wahoo! Made the front page. Also sorry for the poor quality photos, lighting was horrible and was using my iPhone.

Re: Recent M2 sighting: Hi Everybody, been a while since I posted so pls excuse my thread etiquette but wanted to chime in about LBB color at night since I just saw it this Saturday at dusk. I'm at work so will make it relatively short.

My gf lives in Ramsey (like 10 mins from BMW NA) so we took a ride there to see if we could have an M2 peek or encounter but figured it was unlikely but what the heck. We pulled into the main entrance (there are 2 entrances) to see just a building and a somewhat empty parking deck. Pulled out down a bit to the 2nd around the back and as I was pulling in a guy was pulling out in the LBB M2. I had to say I just froze for a second like a deer in the headlights and could not believe what I was seeing..the LBB M2 in all its glory, massive air intakes and all. The guy looked at me, I looked at him, then he nailed it. I since sold my 2011 Lemans Blue e92 335i with Dinan stage 2 so wasn't as easy to catch up with him in my 2014 428 but he caught a 25mph zone, a slow car in front and a red light so got a great look and snapped a few pics. It was becoming dusk so pics a little grainy. Color was sweet, a little teal bluish at certain angles, but wide as all hell at every angle. Hate the long reflectors though, they really look idiotic. Pics don't really do justice but you might get an idea. Keep in mind it was hard to take pics on a fast moving target.
In any event, he nailed it at the light and was gone in 60 seconds..it sounded like an animal, throaty, raspy exhaust. I still managed to catch up and take some phone videos but not post-worthy.

Wow long beach blue is a very complex paint color. I feel like it looks different every time I see it!

It is very wide for a small car, but I don't believe it screams couldn't afford an M4. That is like saying an M4 screams couldn't afford an M6 or whatever.

It's funny how they cover the roundel and the M badge as if they are fooling us. Lol.

Lol, how is it complex? It looks like a civic si from back in the day! I don't know why everybody is dwelling on it. Funny how people on here over angst and complicate the most simple things.

I think MG is my colour but not with the standard black wheels. I need to find a way of getting silver wheels to "freshen" the look.

Not site if they are the same size as m3/4 but you could trade them for the silver if they are.

They are. Just need to swap tyres.

But need to find a buyer of an M3/4 who regrets getting silver and wants black ordering around the same time as me and in the same city. It's a long shot.

The E82 is a future classic! long live Bangle!
I'm an E82 lover/owner and will admit the front of the E82 looks rather dated and even unpleasant compared to the 2-series side by side. The rear holds up pretty well, though, IMHO. And, don't even get me started on the cow belly on the E82. Yes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder but flared or not, the E82 has aged rather poorly in my opinion. Even a clean E46 3-series still holds up better comparatively.

You're right but I suppose I see the m4/m3 as a car in its own right and has its own place in the market, but then some would see the m2 in that same way.
