Jack,

That looks the business.

If you were able to offer me one with winglets trimmed off, I'd be a buyer.....

Jack@AUTOID when you get a chance can you take a picture from straight on but higher up pointed down at the lip so we can get an idea of how far it protrudes from the bumper? Thanks!

No worries man I was looking for something from higher up, it's hard to tell how far it really sticks out from the straight on shot her posted. That was one of the big factors for me, wanted something subtle since most of the existing lips stick out obnoxiously far.

Looks like maybe an inch or so from these pics.

I'm wanting to wait for the official CS spoiler to be released and for companies to have a chance to create a replica. The current AutoID "CS Style" is quite different than the one on t he M2CS

FYI guys. 50% of the total pre-order units are now sold. If you're after being part of the exclusive number of pre-order promos, don't hesitate!

Ps. We're making some amendments to fit in line with the changes requested. COVID and this have pushed deliveries back ever so slightly, but only a 10 days or so.

We will not be making any more amends after this, as its important to get this product to market now.

I'm a little confused. Are you shipping to the USA?

For some reason I thought you weren't shipping individual orders to the USA, so the only way to get was for someone here to make a bulk order/group buy.

Ordered. If we figure out a group buy/ship for US I'll join in but don't want to continue waiting to see.

I'm not organizing a group buy if these are available for USA already. Only reason I was doing it was because I was under the impression they weren't shipping to the USA if there wasn't a bulk purchase, so I was trying to get them available for us in the USA.

My understanding was focusing more on saving shopping costs. It's much cheaper for Jack to bundle 4 (or more) of them into one delivery than ship them separately. We could then all split that cost directly with Jack. He indicated he can individually box them so the recipient opens the main box, takes theirs, and resends the others with the recipient paying their secondary respective shipping costs. It would save each person in the neighborhood of $80 I believe.

But it should be someone in the central US to reduce everyone's secondary costs. Otherwise I would do it myself.

You'll need to excuse me for the lack of progress updates here guys, global pandemic and all that...

We're busy making the changes to the front lip following the recent feedback (I'll have more photos soon). However, due to some issues with the mould which have been compounded by the reduced workforce, our delivery date has slipped back. We now anticipate first lips will arrive in the US May 18th. I hope you can appreciate that this is disappointing for us as we're eager to get these to you ASAP.

Some good news though. We are now well on our way to confirming a AUTOID USA distribution centre. This will mean that we have feet on the ground in the US.

This means we expect the cost of shipping to drop dramatically. Once these costs have been confirmed, and if you have already pre-ordered a front lip, you'll be entitled to a refund in the difference of the shipping cost.

If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to ask. Urgent questions can sent to me directly at jack@autoid.co

BTW this popped up for sale - https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1715471

It looks like Beyond Legal Limits already made the lip in this style.

Thats a lip from 3rd party distributor called Sabon Carbon, they didn't make it.

Fitment isn't great, the winglets aren't the right shape and no OEM mounting points. To top it off, its wet-laid carbon fibre - so its heavier and not as durable.

Our new lip is pre-preg carbon fibre (same as M Performance), meticulously redesigned to fit the M2 and match the M2C MP lip and fitment tested.

the lip style has been out for a very long time now on aliexpress and the like.

The purpose of this thread was to have AutoID (Jack) create one in-house rather than offer to distribute the ones already floating around

Ordered mine yesterday. I'm with Bee Pee and wish I could get it without the winglets... but I'll make do.

This is ALL INCORRECT!!!! This is my company's lip. This lip is made from REAL carbon fiber. It's not wet laid! It's actually apoxy resign.... It's hand made in house in Hershey PA. Thank you though for discrediting my parts as I've never done to your company. We have also been the first USA based company to produce the all new M2 CS lip.

It's amazing when I started this thread almost exactly a year ago, I couldn't find a Comp style lip for the OG anywhere other than the cheap knockoffs that had quality issues. Fast forward to now, and I'm starting to see them everywhere and when I ask owners where they got them I'm finding they're being recreated all over the place by different vendors.

I'm thankful Jack@AUTOID stepped up and is making this happen for us, and although there are a number of sources to buy them now I'm keeping my order with Auto ID to "support those who support us".

My only concern is the slipping of the shipping dates that have delayed the project from an original delivery date in January delayed several times to now shipping (hopefully) on May 18th. I'm sure many owners are anxious to have their new lip spoilers mounted as the nice weather rolls in. Jack, please do your best to ship these on time by May 18th.
