Wow, it seems everyone that is buying is not from the U.S.

Makes sense tho, the US pricing is so good already... and everywhere else in the world it's extortionate pricing buying local.

Seems we have about 4-5 customers waiting, I'm confident everyone will have their wheels soon

Even buying locally you're still waiting on them from Germany. Ordered mine last week from BMWPartsPro and was quoted 1-2 months to get to their US disto

It would actually be from Taiwan to Germany then to the dealers worldwide

Any particular reason you ordered from them? They aren't the cheapest seller at the moment. BMW parts worldwide is still selling a set of the CS wheels for $3500 plus shipping.

They are still around 300 EUR cheaper from Germany with shipping included so it's cheaper

I did an exhaustive search last week because I was weighing the purchase of 763M's vs a set of used Apex EC-7's. The two best deals I found with the Cup 2s are...

$4,700: https://www.bmwpartspros.com/oem-par...et-36112449762

$4,800: https://www.getbmwparts.com/oem-part...et-36112449762

You still need to pay shipping and for my location they both worked out to about $4,900. I eventually ruled it out and went for the used but near perfect condition EC-7's. Hope this helps!

I tend to stick to businesses I've worked with and was already ordering a huge list of sound dampening parts and a rear CF diffuser.

I had no idea so many people ordered! so there's definitely more than 5 of us waiting ... probably 7 and some members ordered two sets

Steffen is legit, I swear, but as others have said they have to get to DE from Taiwan.

I was also worried when I ordered lime but they did come after a few weeks

That makes little sense to me, in that the American market, the parts and vehicles cost is cheaper, when the parts originate is Western Europe.

But I guess there are nuances to the marketing and currency exchanges involve that makes sense of this math, which is lost on me. 🤯

It'll be down to sheer volume of sales,

Eg. Country X buys 10 containers and US buys 100 containers

Price is definitely going to be significantly discounted

If theyre going from Taiwan to DE theirs a good chance they may be held up at the Suez Canal. Been blocked since Tuesday. Tons of ships backed, some of which have turned around and decided to go around the Horn of Africa instead.

Guys I get the wheels from the same source and can confirm that it currently is taking a very long time to get the wheels. Expect 1-2 months.
It's crazy right now, it used to take up 3 weeks at the most.

Ahh ... that's horrible news ..

I'm not sure if I can wait that long, especially without any communication from the seller in this regards. (I can't rely on you or Kankles for this kind of information, this is the sellers responsibility) As I paid him on the 10th of Feb, if it's still 2 months out (totaling 4 months of waiting). I'm going to assume he ordered them all together as a batch so chances are my wheels won't come any sooner than someone that ordered a month down the track from me. This if of course excluding the shipping time from DE to AU.

I'm in a pickle now, it is still saving me 2,500 AUD waiting but is it really worth it if it takes 1/3 of a year?
