Read through the posts, the price is likely not better than getbmwparts.

Not sure if i posted this before but BMW Bellevue (Bellevue WA) has a set of take-off M3CS frozen gold 763M (so 19s up front and 20s out back) for $4500, after tax. That INCLUDES the tires.

I assume the tires are Cup2's?

Too bad about the 20's, that's a great deal.

What is the preferred install method for people swapping out to 763m's?

Do you remove the tires, tpms and everything off of your current wheels, buy the new wheels and tires and reinstall? Sounds like a PITA.

Do you wait until your current old tires are worn?

Depends on what you are after. If you want the cheapest way then yes. I just did that with a set of 437m's. I used a highly rated mobile installer from Tirerack that came to the house. He took the 788m's off, put TPMS and tires on the 437m's and installed those on the car.

If you are shooting for having a dedicated summer/winter set or street/track set then it might make more sense to buy the 763m's with tires already mounted.

Optimal would be to work with a place that has a Hunter balance machine and knows how to use it. Ask them first if they are used to working with low profile 19's and willing to guarantee no rim damage (I found a local place that had the gear, but totally clueless and had to ship my stuff cross town to get the tires fitted).

Good point. You can find tire shops that have Hunter equipment here: https://www.hunter.com/find-equipment/

I already had track tires on my 437 so I just forked out for street tires and TPMS (RDK) on the 763s. But yes, find an installer that won't F your wheels

Shipping from Germany to Australia is 549€

Will update when I receive the wheels (ETA is 4-5weeks)

Still works out cheaper for me than buying these wheels locally (even with contacts at BMW). Not sure if this is applicable for the US market as I see BMW NA have already set the parts prices very reasonably for your regions
Have your wheels been shipped?

Hi Pal,

Not yet... it's been about 5 weeks now.

I'll send Steffen a message this week to get an update, did you order a set as well?

Gotcha, just need to be patient I guess, Steffen was great to respond at the beginning but has gone a bit quiet lately which did make my worry a tad also.

Fingers crossed they are almost in Germany and ready for the final stretch to me in AU.

Also took mine a few weeks to get to DE and then another few days to NL. Steffen was also radio silent for a while as the wheels were in transit. I talked to him a couple days ago and he's ordered another 10 sets of 763 to hopefully lessen the wait time of future orders.

That's awesome, my friend is ready to grab a set off him once mine arrive

I will probably order a set from Steffan but I’m a bit hesitant to send that much money to someone without some sort of assurance. I may wait until I know someone else has received their wheels from him 😅

I know that source personally. And I also know personally where the wheels come from.
I can only recommend to keep applying pressure.

If anyone else needs the 763m wheels in any colour drop me a PM as I can reach the origin directly.

A few have messaged me as well to find out whether or not I received my wheels yet.

I think I'm the first one out of the bimmerpost members here to take the plunge, I'll keep everyone posted!
