Found 763M CS wheels at a discount - Good and bad buying experiences

still no refund for me... and those black M2CS wheels were supposed to be mine.. PayPal denied my request for refund since I used "friends and Family." I messaged him and he did not respond.... again...

Since there were a few people that actually got their wheels, it should be fairly easy to track this guy down, find out where he lives, etc. I'm sure we have someone in the group that would love to have a chat face to face with him. That'll go a long way.

I actually texted a guy outside his apartment building that didn't deliver the goods on a deal. I asked him to look out his window. Guess what, he sent me the money on the spot. Although in hind sight he could have shot me also. 🥴

I don't think a single person here has received a set of wheels from Steffen.

The only person that has successfully gotten a set off this guy is the person that referred him to us - Kankles.

Kankles is a nice guy and assisted where he could, I doubt he could've foreseen what a headache this seller turned out to be for the members on bimmerpost.

Steffen is a true definition of a money hungry a*hole, should be black listed amongst the wider bmw community globally.

PayPal was quick to refund me.. 7 days for them to approve and 3 days after the funds was in the account.

Don't wait.. Absolutely no hope from Steff.. The constant lies and excuses is not worth your time.

So glad I paid through PayPal and not through a wire. Had 2 Sets on order and it was such an unpleasant experience

I don't have any experience with requesting refunds, what's the best course of action?

I don't know why you let it drag out this long when you watched all of us go through the same ordeal .. I think the only course of action now is to file a chargeback through your bank or CC but even that has time limits.

It will be a good learning lesson to never wait past the protection period, I knew mine was coming to an end 5 months in, so I commenced my refund process before my protection expired.

I wonder if the other member that paid through bank transfer will ever get his refund ..

Good info. I am waiting until February to order a set. Winter is coming in IL, no reason to swap wheels at the moment lmao

The only site that had rears in stock was getbmwparts.com and to be perfectly honest not sure if that was the only set... they needed to source the front wheels.

I highly recommend emailing those 4 sites above... actually skip bmw parts worldwide because they don't even ship wheels anymore due to damage.
