The M2CS tune seems to be similar to the M3/4 Competition package, not the M4CS

In terms of putting power down, given the M2CS torque is the same as the M2C, there should be no difference in it's ability to put the power down relative to the M2C. The M2CS will simply hold power a little further up into the rev band. Maximum in-gear acceleration should be no different, but the M2CS will maintain that acceleration for longer and higher into the rev band.

Also, it's important to remember that 265 width tires on an M2 are not going to put the power down the same as 265 width tires on an M3/M4. The M2's shorter wheel base likely helps with weight transfer and loading of the rear tires under acceleration. It may be a negligible difference, but I wouldn't assume the M2 is necessarily the same as an M4 in this regard.

To summarize, the M4CS having 285 width tires is somewhat irrelevant since the M2CS has a shorter wheelbase and less torque. Also, the M2CS tune should be just fine on the M2C - no need for torque limitation in lower gears as the torque is no different.
We are keep considering the peak numbers when actually they shouldn't be considered for spinning tires. It's common that cars with big turbos spin less due to the turbo response. Considering also the electronic wastagates used it is possible to control the boost even better to try to control the spin

The recently posted M2CS engine power specs indicate 444 HP and 406 lb-ft of torque. I didn't realize that they'd hobbled the torque on the M2 CS. If you're going to tune, you might as well at least run the M4 CS tune @ 454 HP and 442 lb-ft of torque. It's still a BMW tune and you'll wave bye bye to the M2 CS :-)
