Looks great. Can you share the paint type used and the process you followed? Thanks.

KBS Jet Black and Primer

I just washed the underside of the muffler then used some degreaser. Taped everything off, and sprayed 2 light coats of the primer. I did not follow the primer directions to let it sit for eight hours before applying the next coat. Only waited about an hour as it was very dry. Sprayed a couple of light coats of the jet black and it was all done. It took a whole lot more time to tape and remove the tape then to do the painting. I did it all with the car just resting flat on the driveway.

After driving and heating up the muffler several times there is no flaking.

Looks good.

I am really starting to like those wheels, but the price is keeping me away...

I deeply want them. It's not the price that's keeping my away from them (the black ones, at least), it's the Sport Cup 2's reputation for poor wet performance. Always a consideration in Portland.

Then just buy the wheels and have whatever tire you want installed?

On GetBMWParts.com they are cheaper than buying from BMW.

I don't think we are supposed to post prices so I will list the part numbers for the black 763M wheels (which are much cheaper than the frozen gold wheels).

Front: 36118053421
Rear: 36118053422
TPMS: 36106881890
Hubcaps(non-floating): 36136783536
M wheel Emblem (4 pack): 36112228660 (Pretty sure the wheels come with the M emblem already installed)

If I do decide to buy the gold ones, this is what I am going to do because I am planning on mounting wider tires on them.

I've priced it out with a few places, I intended on going with getbmw. No one has been able to get me what I actually want. The PS4S's are on back-order with BMW, so I'd be stuck with tossing MPSS's on them or getting them bare and then hoping that a local tire shop has the right tires (and that's not looking good..called 7 places, no one has them).

All of it is my fault. I hesitated a few times and burned through most of the summer-tires-not-currently-on-car time.

Easy peasy, check tirerack.com:

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...e&autoModClar=

I've used them a lot and they've always been great. I get them shipped to my favorite tire shop!

Installed Powder Coated Center Trim... Those metal clips really are evil

Also managed to completely fuck up a 10$ red M1/M2 installation and now am forced to buy new steering wheel button inserts... If you have a DCT, first unscrew the flappy pads and then find your way to the very hidden torx screw. I couldn't find the torx screw at first sight and only slightly pulled the trim piece... cheap plastic shit

Have you heard of Brixton Forged? They are the parent company. Signature is a lightweight forged wheel for a great price. Checkout their website, a lot of cool designs. Still waiting on center caps but love how they look!

Ah, I have heard of Brixton. Those are amazing wheels. I'd hate to see the prices of Brixton wheels, good LAWD.

I appreciate the kind words. They are very fairly priced for the quality you get.
