Where would one find the area for coding on/off the lane departure warning? I just realized mine hasnÂ’t been on and I donÂ’t remember turning it off. Thanks!
By default it should be going on automatically every time you start the car. Even if you turn it off it should reset and turn on next time the car is started.

If it's not doing so, you may want to contact your dealer.
This is not correct. I turned off lane departure 15 months ago when I picked up the car and it’s off to this day. Same with the engine shut off feature.

Only one I keep on is the collision detection, saved my ass more than once with idiots not knowing how to use a two lane roundabout.

Ah, yes, you're right. I remembered incorrectly, got it mixed up with collision warning, which is the one that always defaults to on.

The collision warning system is good, except I sometimes forget to turn it off on the track and warnings go off unexpectedly

The same button?

It is literally a physical button, right beside the collision warning on. See pic. MY18 is slightly different but same general location.

Just curious if BimmerCode can code LED lights to be brighter? I understand it?s set at 64%? If you can do it and bump it to 100% is there any issues? Does the setting for LED lights different or same as the angel eyes? Thanks.

You can only adjust the angel eye brightness, pretty sure we can?t make changes to the lights themselves. I have done the change to bump angel eyes to 100% and it looks great. Hopefully others can chime in.

Ok. I thought I saw somewhere you could increase the brightness of the LED headlights as well?

Have you tried increasing the angel eyes to 100%? Hey

It?s entirely possible, I have a MY16 with the adaptive xenon lights, so LED could be different.

Yes I have had angel eyes at 100% since the day I got the Bimmercode app. It?s sooo much better especially at night.

Thanks. I'll try that first. Is there any issues with having the angel eyes at 100%?

Stupid question, not sure what's the standard setting is at but will moving it to 100% burn out the bulbs sooner?

I believe 8% is stock during the night and 100% during the day.

You are just moving it to 100% at night.

The bulb might degrade quicker but they are designed to be on all the time since they are basically DRLs.. they should withstand it.

They?re LEDs and designed to run always-on since they are DRLs. They?ll probably outlast most components in the car haha

Dealer updated my 2017 M2 to the current software version and now BimmerCode is unable to code the head unit. Hmph.

What sw version were you running before and after? Was it a specific issue that prompted the dealer to flash to the new software, or were you able to just request them to do it?

Head unit was rebooting spontaneously while driving. It was something that only happened once every several months or so, but for the last couple of weeks it would happen daily. Sometimes several times during one drive.

So the dealer updated iDrive and the software throughout the car. Car originally came with Telephone and Media version 3.x, which was subsequently updated to 5.x and is now 6.x after this last update. Precise version:

Navigation unit was also updated (not maps, but the unit's firmware).
