I saw it today and it is definitely teal in the shade as these later pictures show. No direct sunlight so I can't comment on that.

I was hoping it would look like Atlantis Blue but it seemed much more green to start. I have only seen Atlantis Blue once so I could be wrong but I was not too impressed with LBB in person.

Haha, so already 3 or 4 of you drove to BMW HQ parking to spot/stalk the M2 ?
Next time SCOTT26 may as well be the parking warden charging an entrance fee for further M2 pilgrimages.

Saw LBB in person today and it is, in fact, teal like the first picture. However, it has way more color and depth than the photos in the first post. I actually liked it a lot.

2022 BMW i4 m50  [10.00]
HAHHAH Im sorry to laugh but that M2 must feel so violated by now Everyone is visiting it like an family member at the hospital. But on topic the EBII should so be offered on the M2 i don't see why not cause the 2er is made in the same plant so it should be possible.

Absolutely right. The car changes color so much that one part of the car might be teal, while the rest of the car is blue. That's why I love it so much.

But I'll take Austin Yellow over it if they had offered it

Austin Yellow is a horrible color... so horrible, in fact, that I was compelled to buy my M4 in that color

I think AY would be great on the M2... I also REALLY wish they offered Sakhir Orange. Every M4 I have seen with Sakhir Orange was gorgeous and I think it would suit the M2 very well.

Agree, Sakhir Orange would be perfect as San Marino Blue which really pops in sun light, of course the blue stitching.

So Sakhir Orange and the orange 1M stitching

The camera is off. I saw it and took pictures of the same car. It looks too light compared to what it is. Check all other photos from people who went to the BMW NA, this one has the color really off in my eye.

Everyone has a different opinion about how LBB looks in person.I have seen the color twice on the X6M and it is definitely a turquoise blue.It may have looked a little darker when you saw it but the pics in this thread are representative of how the color looks in natural light IMO.It is never going to look like Estoril Blue in natural light. It looked a little bit like Estoril when I first saw the X6M in an underground garage at my dealer, under the lights, but it still had the lighter turquoise color.

The video that Adem1534 posted in his thread also shows the lighter turquoise color, which is what LBB looks like IMO.

Most cameras also make the color look darker than it actually is.

I saw a F80 M3 in AY yesterday up close and pictures do not do that color justice either! It really looks quite nice in person.

I saw the car today - again. Every time I see it looks darker. But it wasn't sunny this morning so maybe in the sun it gets lighter? Either way I like it. I had Estroil and IB in the past, so I like darker blue cars.

That's why I love LBB. There's a sht ton of pictures out in every lighting condition possible, for 3 different BMW's, and we still can't agree on how to describe it

I love colors that have that kind are interesting like that

I will post more of the pictures I took tonight, because I feel they give a better representation of the color than other pictures on the board.

OK... not to dwell on the LBB color but I went back to the dealer today and took the paint sample outside in the bright sun. It is teal but it is definitely a deeper blue than the photo in the original post. Maybe on a completely dull, dreary, overcast day it might look more like the photo in the original post.

Below are untouched photos and they may be "slightly" more blue and darker than what I was looking at but only slightly. It's a teal blue but DEFINITELY blue and I am almost sure I like it enough to pick it It also has a TON of metallic flake.

This one is in direct sun...

This one is in the shade...

Either way I've seen the LBB M2 in person and it looks good. My eyes, not camera eyes says it looks like a nice dark blue hue.

Like this??? That's a dark blue. LBB doesn't look dark at all to me in real life.

That blue would be an easy decision. Brings some class to the car without being boring.

That's what I hope MG will do. LBB just too much flash I think...

Agreed... it is blue that is much darker than the first photo here... very similar to the paint samples I photographed. The light, baby bluish, teal in original post scared me but the paint sample was definitely deeper and darker and more blue... yes, a teal tone but definitely blue.

This is the closest picture I have seen that most accurately reflects the actual paint sample I held in my hand... I would buy this color...

Based on the paint sample I help outside in the sun, this is the closest picture to the real thing...
It's almost like you guys have a limited vocabulary to use to describe colors and gravitate toward using the term "dark" and then somehow convince yourselves that the color is actually dark.

This is a light blue color. Look at the blue calipers which are a darker blue. Yes, this is a different hue than the turquoise it turns into in the light, but it is not dark at all, just a different hue. Both the blue and the turquoise blue it turns into are light colors.

The above is LBB but the outdoor pics are also LBB. It isn't a single hue, it is metallic and changes hues. Let's stop trying to pick the best representation for a color that is mutable.
