Installing HFC's, CDV & VVT's CBC tomorrow

All,

Had Wagner ship me the 200 CEL HFC"s right from Germany.

Would have gotten them from Mike at X-PH but he was backordered on them.

Bought the proper part to swap out the Clutch Delay valve and I'm also adding the Crank Bolt Capture kit as added insurance against the dreaded SCH problem...

Will add thoughts after its all done...

Next is installing ECUTEK :-)

Way too many long words, can you add more acronyms?

Curious to know how the car feels after the CDV. I go back and forth on doing this one myself.

Cool. Interested to hear about the Wagner fitment and O2 bung locations for O2 sensor/wiring.

Happy installs!!

UPDATE>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Clutch Delay Valve removal: Much lighter but consistent pedal travel in all gears and all RPMS. Its "consistent" now. The 1-2 shift is much smoother...

Wagner Euro 200CEL Downpipes: About 25% Louder (I have a AA Midpipe also) Got a O2 sensor CEL within 2 days. Will code out with tune. Its cold here and I cant get any traction with the Michelins on the car. So no idea about power yet.

The Crank Bolt Capture was 2 hrs of labor getting parts out of the way to install. Its a really simple "peace of mind" added insurance mod vs a full SCH solution. This also doesn't void my 4/50 warranty.

I got similar results changing the clutch slave cylinder (no CDV)

I'm now thinking about getting an Ultimate Clutch Pedal to firm things up a bit

Are you fairly certain the Crank Bolt Capture won't void the warranty?

I can't help but think that if the crank hub were to slip, BMW might try to blame the aftermarket parts

What about coding out the CEL with a tune?

Once again, if a problem were to arise, if BMW saw an aftermarket tune (even if it only alters or turns off the O2 sensors) I would image this being an easy excuse for them not honoring the warranty

The CBC doesn't alter the OEM setup. It just augments it.

I'm going to tune the car soon and understand it will void the warranty on any related issues.

What exactly is the part to remove the clutch delay valve, and what is involved in swapping it out? Thanks.
