Flaw in PPF
Hello good people!
I had my car PPF a few months ago. I was washing it and noticed the attached blemish. It looks like a bug splat right on the front bumper. However it is actually a few small bubbles. I ran it by the tint shop and they said it looks like the paint is chipped underneath the film. This is bumming me out quite a bit. I would have never had them wrap over the rock chip. I would have had the chip filled in or something first. I am wondering if anyone knows a way to minimize the appearance of the film over small chips?

Forgot to attach the picture. Edited my original post.
And yes I wish the installer would have done things differently. But right now I’m really just focused on the bubbles and moving forward. |

I don't think there is much you can do. That would bug the hell out of me.

At first glance it looks like something hit and damaged the film
If it wasn't there when you first got ppf done chances are that debris bouncing up and hitting the car could have caused it. Tough to say since you had the film installed months ago.
