Ok, fully acknowledging that my delivery will more than likely be materially delayed due to coronavirus, I have a timeline question.

My timeline thus far:

December 20 - made $2500 deposit on M2C

February 20 - dealer gave me 2020 allocation

February 24 - BMW rejected Aug 16 ED date

February 27 - BMW accepted May 26 ED date

March 12 - ED purchase order, power of attorney for plates and other paperwork submitted to BMW.

My dealer said the next step would be an email directly to me from BMW. Is that correct and when does it usually happen?

Not sure but The Welt is closed until further notice. I am sure that will delay Euro Delivery

Appreciate the update (no matter how painful) and love your car.

Did you do Euro Delivery? Did BMW Contact you via email?

BMW NA specialty sales will send you a standardized email that includes information specific to your build and your pick up window. This is your official notification that you are in the system with a firm production date. It also kicks off the start of your ability to schedule complimentary factory tours, museum visit, etc.

I have no clue how the current situation is impacting their ability or desire to commit to production or delivery dates though.
