Leaf blower recommendations for drying
Hi all, looking to purchase a blower to dry my car after washing it at the diy wash.
Must be cordless obviously, and if available on Amazon.ca or Home Depot Canada ideally. Even if you know what specs I should be looking for in terms of cfm and mph would be helpful. Thanks in advance. |

M2C sounds about right for this job.
Ok, I'll show myself out now

I went with a Dewalt blower but only to share batteries with my existing tools. But I have been happy with it.

I use a cordless ryobi one, and it does an ok job. I had a more powerful corded black and decker one but the differences were minor. It depends on how good your wax/sealant/ceramic coat beads water.

This. I have DeWalt 60V blower and have used it to dry both my M2 that has full PPF and ceramic and my 535 wagon that has neither. On the former, the blower easily pushes off 99% of the water and leaves whole sections completely dry very quickly. On the latter, you get the bulk of the water off, sure, but it takes longer and the whole car is still wet, just with lots of very small water droplets that require more hand drying.

I grabbed the EGO Power+ 530 CFM on sale a while back. Works great on my ceramic coated M2C

I too have the cheaper Ryobi one. It probably sucks as a real leaf blower but it does fine to blow the water off my M2C plus I already have the batteries and charger. I do have a ceramic coat on the car, so that probably helps with the process as well.
