M2C spoiler and mirror caps
Guys new to this M2 forum waiting on my car being built.
Any recommendations on carbon rear spoiler and mirror caps, looks like the OEM is over priced. Please share pictures and links where to buy. Appreciate your help Thank you |

I have autoteknic dry carbon mirror caps. I really like the quality for the price. You can buy them a lot of different places, better value than the M Performance ones imo

I was going to go with the CS style CF spoiler from AutoID but ended up finding one here on the forums. I think it's a good price though.

Is it 3x the cost better? Perhaps it is. I haven't received mine yet but have read good things.

I paid $350 plus shipping from the UK for the AutoID version. It came out to about $400. Having seen both side by side, I'd pay the extra $200. for the original. It's not 3x the price since you can buy OEM M2CS spoiler for $600. online. That being said, I'm not removing the one I have now.

curious, other than looking cool, which it does, does that rear spoiler lip actually DO anything useful, down-force wise do you think or just "keeps dirt off your bum" type thing?

Instead of reinventing the wheel, here is an interesting thread and chart on rear spoiler downforce.

It's a $60k+ car, saving a few hundred dollars to not have the OEM part installed by the OEM didn't make sense to me. What color is your car? I like paint colored mirrors because they really show off the unique design of the M mirror. Was considering them on my LBB order but the cool mirrors lost something in the carbon/black.

Does the OEM rear diffuser help hide the exhaust udder? I have mine on order and am deciding on whether or not to have this added at the port. Thanks!
