That does look good. I was looking for the side splitters only, but that full lip looks really nice. Paired with the side winglets in the rear, just like yours.

Curious based on you last post, do you sell AP products?
Yes sir. Since I Admin on a couple M2 groups on FB and been on the forums since 2016 when I got my first M2 I know a lot of F87 owners. When I ordered my personal AP parts I had a couple locals also order for their cars to save on shipping, so ended up doing a bulk.

I ended up having some parts at hand to streamline the shipping process. I have lips and sides on hand.

I attempted, again, to pandemic-impulse buy new wheels and was stopped by another "oh, crap, we don't actually have them in stock...", and now I'm waiting through Paypal's stupid-long refund process.

I give up. Maybe I'll move to pandemic-impulse buying cat toys instead.

How much ground clearance do I lose with that lip?

My Pandemic buying today was a full self car wash suite of products off amazon, mitts, soaps, wheel cleaners, wax, etc. I've not wanted to wash a car since my e46. Now, I am waiting to start washing my little beast!

I should be staying away from car washes, right? Just doing my part...

You talk about your M2C with such endearment, you must really love it. Good for you..

I like my car also but after many years of ownership, the novelty wore out..

Happy to hear that sentiment is still going strong. Enjoy and pour it strait

I hope my love for this car doesn’t wear out. So far so good. Though it is hard seeing it in the driveway knowing that I can’t drive it anywhere with the current shelter in place orders.

Haha. Yes I do love this car. I've only had it 3 months, but the endearment is stronger than any car I've owned. I think it's because this car is so engaging that it forces you to be involved in every turn, every shift, every opportunity to accelerate. I just don't ever find myself in efficient mode cruising along. Maybe because its an M thing, but BMWs have always been know to engage all senses. I'm sure I'll get over it some day, but until then I'm lovin it.

Not sure if it has been mentioned here but getbmwparts .com has good pricing on genuine BMW parts - usually 20% off list price.

Got it, so one can expect about 2.5-3 inch loss of clearance. Thanks!

After a couple of years of ownership that's good to know. Some cars will always be special, this is certainly one of them.

I got all my detailing gear prior to getting delivery of my M2C. I even got a cart to organize them all in. Let me know if you need tips.

Man the CF lip is SO TEMPTING. But duuuude, do I really want to go back to the days of being so paranoid about slightly raised store entryways, etc.

I'm already taking entries at an angle (old habit), and since I don't have lip right now I don't need to worry about hearing/feeling SCRRRAAAAAAAAAAAP sounds, lol.

I wasn't even looking for a lip, just the side winglets in the front but those seem hard to find. I do not want to be paranoid about scrapes either, I'd rather just have fun. My ideal setup on the HS would be the rear winglets, front winglets, and CF mirror caps. I think those would look nuts on a HS M2C.

Now I'm thinking even the rear winglets could be an issue on speed bumps?

I bought my car when it was too cold to wash (December) so It been hand washed by a shop near me. Now its time to wash her myself, but of course all my Prime items are arriving mid-April (WTF)!!!! It's ok, I can wait a couple of weeks. I think I've got my tools and the technique down. Pressure washer (already have). Soap foam gun attachment to soak the car. Wheel cleaner. Separate mitts for the car and wheels, water blade (not sure if I should get a leaf blower), absorbent towels, dry down spray wax.

Heads up on getbmwparts.com though guys; I had to return the M Perf CF Grille TWICE because they kept sending me ones with small cracks, and the first M Perf CF diffusor had a huge scrap on it, so I also sent that back. Second one they sent was perfect though, so kept it.

Ended up just sending my factory fresh original grille to get PPF'ed (along with the CF diffusor) and going to have them both installed next week. (Sort of tired of my IND grille with the painted center).

Really want to get that CF lip now haha!

Man, honestly, we're all paying monthly sub fees for Prime and not getting 2 day or even 3 day shipping on "non-essentials". Given the climate of things with the pandemic, shouldn't Amazon freeze auto-pay for Prime until this whole thing blows over?

Winglets wont be an issue on speed bumps, those I do have in FL and massive and I clear them all this lowered. They sit super close height wise to the car.
