The car seems to take the kidney shape of the next 3 series which I like very much

Rumor is that it would have some kind of circular side intake or air curtain ala e46 m3 csl

This mule makes me miss cars that didn't need to have calipers painted crazy colors

Any indication for interior updates too?
Would be nice to be more special than the M240i 🙂

Looks good but hope they fix the steering and duck farting exhaust. CS should be more about the feel and machine-driver connection. They know how to do it if they want to. Maybe they'll grow some balls again.

I doubt its the S55 variant under the hood, it looks like it's running a front intercooler, albeit a bigger one! Hard to tell, I could be wrong though! Either way it looks good with the LED lights but that's all I'm seeing at the mo, and the brakes obviously. Il be upgrading my lights if I can, those look well smart.

I really hope it gets an LED headlight option! At this point, I don't even care about the mirrors.

These appear to be larger steel rather than carbon ceramic brakes. I'll click that box!

Hi Scott

Can you give your thoughts on how BMW will position these CS models please?

1. Limited production?
2. Track focused?
3. What would be the benchmark cars BMW is looking to compete with?

Who would be pissed off it didn't get the S55? What if it keeps the N55 but gets a bigger turbo and intercooler? Dinian and pure have showed what reasonably priced mod can have on performance. I wouldn't care about the engine anyhow, so long as they put the car on a small diet.

I think these will sit in between for example
1- Standard M3/M4
2- CS M3/M3
3- M4 GTS (or rather a limited model)

I'm quite certain that if I drove that car it would cause my wang to elongate to its fullest extent. Thus, causing interference with my ability to steer. Finally resulting in a crash, but with an enormous smile on my face. The end.

Beat me to it !

Possibly they've made savings elsewhere, although the carbon ceramic check box is something I won't be ticking.

We need figures and we need them now

Hard to tell completely, but it looks like the fangs are missing on the LCI/CS. Still wish they'd redesign the rear bumper reflectors, the vertical orientation is a distraction to my eyes and I think it takes away from the overall language - almost like it was an afterthought...not integrated well.

I do think the car looks so much better with silver wheels. Hopefully they will make that an option (and not the 666 variety).

Garage List
2020 M2 Competition  [10.00]
2007 E86 M coupe  [8.38]
2002 E39 M5  [9.00]
I hope BMW actually makes some of these and doesn't manufacture it out of unobtanium like the GTS...Should be a fantastic car.

it looks to me like we are seeing the structure *beneath* the front bumper.

Larger brakes on the car..
looks like the vertical vanes in the front are intended to route more air to the brakes.. the other openings in the front have more openings to route air directly as well.

That exhaust can has to change or the rear bumper needs to be redesigned, it looks terrible hanging down below the bumper like that! Maybe paint it black or cover it, I don't know...
