M2 leaked! Photos and specs!
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com As you can see it's pretty much what was expected: 370hp with manual or automatic. But what I find most interesting is the 35kg (77lbs) weight loss from the M235i. I think the M2 looks stunning. Really aggressive and brutal. The only downside (imho) is the limited color selection |

FYI these are probably accurate but are most definitely renders. Crappy renders at that since not only is the color off, but so is the generated lighting. No way these were supplied by BMW. More like someone saw the car in person and tried to replicate.

These are official photos. They're taken from Auto Express which is being released tomorrow. "Crappy renders at that". They're real for God's sake! |

So comparing MSRPs maybe the M2 will start at $53? The M235i in the UK is $35 and the M2 $44. Comparing the M235i to the US price puts it at $9k over. That would be pretty sweet for base M2 to come in under $54K.

I agree, they don't look real. The one that MR. just posted does look like it could be an actual pic of the M2.

I'll echo the sentiment about the mirrors, but it's not a deal breaker. If they're plug and play, that's an easy enough swap. I'm not complaining with a rumored MSRP of $51k.
Looks great to me - would love to see it in MG or BSM. Also not feeling the red reflectors in the rear bumper, but I figure someone will come up with a solution (IND?). It's also begging for the M-performance CF spoiler, as pointed out by W///. Exciting day, fellas!

This place is the worst at stuff like this. Everyone wants their own thread...
Nightfall, did you not see this was already posted over an hour before you made this new thread?

These look like the usual studio shots to me, like those we saw for the X4 M40i recently.
BMW invites journalists into a photo studio where they can see the car and take pictures. It's just that the lighting is usually very artificial in these studios and also the white-balance is way off in the pictures from AE. |

just not sure about the fenders and the lines down the side of the car
need more angles. also, are we now sure that the seats are typical m235/335i sport seats?
