I don't like Audis, but this looks sharp...
TT-RS is its competitor, not introduced yet, but will come soon... Mix RS3 with TTS and you have it

Pretty sad about all the negativity. Lighten up, guys. It's a RENDER. Of course it may look a little 'odd'.

This is just a preview. And for a preview it looks pretty damn sexy. Just wait for the reveal before you make your final judgement. This is practically a painting!

There is definitely something odd with this render. The car looks like it has jowls. Surely something is out of proportion here becuase to me the camo'd cars look nothing like this proportion-wise. The details might all be there and I think they're fine, but the size just isn't right. I think the real thing will look MUCH better.

Depends on what you are looking for. M2 vs TT-RS totally different cars...

I must say the new TT is miles better than the old one, not so much understeer anymore.

Still I prefer rear wheel drive, and front wheel steering...

Thank you. The design is there but the lines aren't perfectly lined up. You can tell because the left side of the front bumper in the render doesn't exactly match the right side.

It's a render. Just a render.

Look through the renders... the proportions are off because this is a mix of a real photo and rendered parts. The 1/4 front photo gives the best idea of what it will look. Let's wait until we see some other colors

Congratulations, it is the first most accurate rendering of the new M2 seen so far.

And as discussed previously what you are seeing is the Vision GT but brought in to assist with the more realistic aspects of a performance road car.

Although it is not without reason to get a little "wilder".
I hope BMW is reading this topic. Look how much negativity there is. I've said it before it looks like a an aftermarket body kit has been slapped on. It's not finished off. It's screaming for a hood dome and CF roof!! This would totally finish it off and balance it out. The way it looks now there is nothing going on above the door lines. CF roof would assist this

If no hood dome then at least CF roof! At least an option! If none of these then don't completely drop the ball and not put 1 piece M seats. Don't stuff this up BMW!

No CF roof, no hood dome, no 1 piece M seats..... it is mostly a copy of the 1M strategy and set up. Don't get your hopes up for something that is not going to happen. BMW first wants to sell this and then maybe a CSL variant of this could have the things you ask for.

Wow that's ugly. Looks like a manta ray in the front. That whole front end looks clunky and awful. I can't imagine BMW would put out a car with those huge fins over the tiny inlets in the front.

Already pointed out some "looking through camo" lines in the past:

Still secretly hoping to see the horizontal V-shape design of the front bumper intake of the GT6 Vision Concept implemented on the M2 or M2 CSL.

There always is negativity on everything BMW does but we have thicker skin.
But we always have to think about progress as well as further potential.

Clearly some aftermarket company will come up with the GT6 Vision Concept front and rear bumper for the M2.

You know why that is? Because BMW has the biggest fan base in the world.

Bimmerpost.com is clear example of that...

And where fans are, you have a lot of negative and positive comments.

We are your fan base. We are the BMW enthusiasts so you should be taking note for what we want in this car. That doesn't mean unrealistic items but if you can't put proper sport seats and CF roof in 2015 at least as options then BMW has dropped the ball.

Regarding your comment about future progress, this tells me the Cf roof and seats will be reserved for CSL. Can you at least advise if the CSL does ever happen would it be priced under or above the M3?
