But here is something new . Why are the front seats covered?
So the passenger doesn't soil the seats?!
Ha! Ha! Hmmm new seats are in!!!

As for WI, intrigued to see how this pans out. Only thing that has me now regarding the sibling is relative pricing.

Get's the M4 seats with illuminated M logos or they are testing new BMW performance seats?

I cannot come up with another reason...

No CF roof? Even the GT86 TRD and WRX STI have that.

Answer: Because you're trying to avoid the questions about the CF roof?

On second thought I don't think the sibling will actually get the S55 but perhaps a water injected N55+. The better question here is the one you've posed, will we even see the car in North America? If both came I'd really want the M2 GTS/CSL but then how could I DD and track such a rare car? I'd want to keep it in my garage and only take it out in good weather and for coffee and cars!!!

This so far is definitely set to be the most menacing of the M crowd.
That stance is perfect, let's hope the ride height is set just like that! Just the right amount of wheel gap there

Wow! It's picture overload today. I cannot comprehend how good this thing will look in donington grey, with black wheels and some great looking seats!

Just amazing!!!

This is what I am thinking, water injection on an N55 m2 GTS.

And also the CF roof

I am very intrigued by the different gas take covers.

Here is a M235i Racing. Round, uncovered gas cap.

Could the round cap panel really just be a coverup for something similar? The question is does the car with the paddle shifters and the new seats happen to the same car with the round or square gas cap? Could lead to the conclusion that the round gas cap car could get the new, lightweight seats and 6 speed only to be the CSL version.

Wow, nice spyshots from "autogepsot".

Such a pity the best cars (2er, Cayman,...) always get 'castrated' because of some stupid marketing icon.

Hoping for the following on the official car.

- M3 mirrors
- M style hood with power bulge
- Carbon roof option
- CCB option

I am already 95% sold on this car. Those options/features and BMW will have my money.

What are your guys opinions on buying a 2012 e92 m3 frozen matte silver with competition package, vs waiting on an m2?

That's a great question Scott, I'd wager the seats are covered to mitigate 'excitement' stains on the seats - tell me I'm right?

The e92 is a great car, a real end of an M car era, but I'd guess that every time new pics come online of the M2 or you finally see one on the road, you will kick yourself for not holding out!

I'd be in the same boat, but it's also so hard to not drive a car as special as the one would be.

I'd love a new 991 GT3 RS, to wake up to and hug, like right when I get out of bed; it'd be such a waste to just hug it, never rev it to 9k, or paint the all the white lines on the street black.

Life struggles.
