Tire temperature variations

Hey all, I just hit 1100 miles today, two weeks after picking up my car! I'm driving easy, back roads, pretty much 100 miles a day for fun. Breaking it in by the book. I have my first service scheduled for Wednesday. I love the car.

Today I noticed my front driver side wheel temp was about 10-15° hotter than the rest. I pulled over to make sure nothing was blocking my vents and didn't find anything obvious.

I haven't noticed this big of a variation previously. Any ideas what could cause this?

Cold, my tires are all 35psi. What do you recommend?

Also, what are normal, spirited, and track driving tire temps?

Sorry if I missed this info elsewhere. I searched multiple times with no luck, but I am a noob.

Thanks in advance.

Additional info.

Ambiant temps were around 70° Farenheit.
I was driving left and right turns equally hard.
Tire temps stayed pretty much the same after 30 minutes of easy fwy driving after noticing the hot left front.

The fact that the tires shown on the screen get brighter GREEN as the temp rises, is just awesome. Thanks for that sweet touch BMW. Just noticed that.

I had this same issue on my m235i and my f80 m3. No idea why but it seems to be "normal".

Awesome thanks. I will continue to monitor and report back. Just over reacting I guess since previous 1000 miles were very consistent.

Mine is the same too. I suspect that it’s due to the supplements radiator in front of the tyre discharging more heat than the oil cooler on the other side.
The tire does physically feel warmer.

I think that is normal since you are sitting on the left side which causes more heat? Also if sun is shining more on the left side can cause the different temps.

And 35 psi all around is the recommended tire pressure.

yes, as others said, it is the oil cooler that is causing the extra heat. I set all of mine to 35 while cold.. then do a spirited drive for a few miles and then i adjusted them all to the same (37 i think it was when warm). I just had to drop the front drivers 2 psi from the heat.

Is the supplements radiator in the front left or right looking out from inside the car?
Could this be contributing to 'noisy' tires due to uneven wear?

I think it's due to the Suns location. I see that not only is the front left warmer but also the front rear.

When I'm at the track, I always notice when I'm about to start my next session that one side is always significantly warmer than the other side and it's always the side that had been facing the sun.

Have not noted this difference, but will these next few days/weeks.

One note on being at an event, track related with sun on one side: buy some color matching decent bath towels [they have to match you know] and drape over tires while waiting. Old trick from race days past. Makes your tires all equal when needed.
